Bruno Mars is hard at work on a new studio set and is set to shock fans with its edgy direction.

Details on the ‘Unorthodox Jukebox‘ player’s startling project below…

The producer Skrillex spilled the beans on Bruno’s new creative moves in an interview with ‘Billboard.’

In it he shared:

I’m actually working with Bruno Mars right now. I’m not going to give specifics of what it sounds like, but what we’re doing is so f–king different, awesome and next level and sounds like nothing else that’s happened before.

His last set, ‘Unorthodox Jukebox’, is to thank for the hits ‘Locked Out of Heaven’ which rocked the charts before the record-breaking arrival of ‘Uptown Funk’, produced by Amy Winehouse producer Mark Ronson.

    He will deliver.

I really hope he comes through. I hate when artists change up their sound and it doesn’t work. He is still one of the best of this generation though.

  6. Stephon Jackson June 10, 2016

He’s one of the very few males of this generation I actually like. Hope he doesn’t disappoints. I want a massive era from him.

Bruno and Beyonce have truly emerged as the entertainers of their generation.

JT, XTINA, and Brit have not been able to deliver…

I think he talented and has the potential; however, I think he is given too much credit. Again, I do think he can be a big deal but as of now it’s still early and he has displayed promise… Not evidence of consistent work. He has a strong audience and has potiental to become a worldly entertainer… and oddly, I think playing with his sound will be the ticket Urban pop mixed with elements of hip hop and trap and edm is becoming a genre that is more universal. To broaden that fan base he has to capture the future of music while staying true to his inner artist. This is where you go from good to greater. Ppl like JT and Bey have proven that they can evolve, stay true to self, and gain a new audience. We must not mess up Bruno’s potential by giving him a crown to early. That’s part of Tinashe’s issue. Let this man go through the journey. And the Weekend is posing an issue to Bruno much like Bruno did to Miguel..smh. Miguel could’ve been that guy but Bruno swooped in. Sheesh… Bruno took that James brown/little Richard/ prince style and Miguel… Was left to figure it out. The weekend looks like an edgy more current Bruno. Trust me… The creative directors are looking to separate the two.

I can’t believe you mentioned Tinashe name. She is like a no hit wonder. Well I will give her a low charting one hit wonder still to this date. Not in same league. Lol

I am here for experimentation but not with Skrillex. His sound is tired and dated. I don’t think his voice would go over well with that kind of music either.

You are here for experimentation? That must be a new revelation seeing how you stan for Katy Perry, the girl who releases music a 17-year-old girl would release but is like 30 years old or more.

Honestly, I think he’s literally EARNED the right to change up his sound this far in his career. He’s already proven himself as the biggest album seller of male popstars right now, so clearly his fans will buy whatever he chooses to release. Good for him! I see sales of 7,000,000+ ww for him with this new album.

It’s about time he switches up his sound. He is one of the most talented male performers out right now, but his look and sound are dated. I get the vibe that he wants to create this classic sound, and old school vibe and it doesn’t seem natural it feels forced. like all the kids that were born in the 90’s that try so hard to dress and act like aaliyah and tupac. lol it SEEMS like a gimmick its Bruno so he doesn’t disappoint just doesn’t wow. maybe the change up will bring out something that will WOW the world + not just be talked about for a few weeks!
