At six weeks, the LP becomes the Toronto native’s longest reign atop the album tally. Drizzy’s fourth studio album sold 135,000 units this week when combining streaming, tracking and sales data.
The feat sees the Canadian become the first male artist to top the chart this long in almost a decade. Prior to now, 50 cent’s ‘Massacre’ and Eminem’s ‘The Eminem Show’ are the last albums to boast this achievement. Selling 32,000 copies in pure sales, 81,000 with streaming and 22,000 in track equivalent units, ‘VIEWS’ passes the test of time and format and is proving its longevity.
On the singles front, the WizKid and Kyla assisted ‘One Dance’ is enjoying similar success.
Sitting at #1 on the Hot 100 for its fifth week (non-consecutively), the dance-floor jam managed the feat by racking up digital downloads of 94,000, 22.5 million US streams, and a radio audience of 154 million.

“Hello” is way better than “Formation.” Adele’s material is stellar. Beyonce’s album is different in terms of sound. But she isn’t original. Adele’s music has a classic feel to it.
