Madonna performed in arenas in US but she did 2 shows per arena which adds up to Beyonce’s current per night gross. Madonna did $12 million in ONE night at Wembley stadium YEARS ago(which I think is still a record). Madonna has a far greater European reach, I mean she went to the Balkans for goodness sake something that Beyonce is not doing.
Madonna did TWO, count them TWO shows at Brazil’s Morimbu Stadium AND the did the same in Argentina’s River plate stadium, where The Sticky and Sweet Tour DVD was filmed to a PACKED STANDING crowd no chairs like Beyonce has(the entire tour is on youtube). The last time Beyonce went to Brazil she overestimated their enthusiasm which ended up with her performing to half full stadiums during MCSWT. Look it up.
