Like millions of Black people in America and beyond, Beyonce has had enough of racial injustice.
With tensions high following the killings of Alton Sterling and Philando Castile at the hands of police officers, the ‘Freedom’ fighter has released a lengthy statement.
See what the influential singer had to say, along with her message to fans, after the jump…
At the tail end of her message, which was shared on her official website, the 34-year-old added the following:
We all have the power to channel our anger and frustration into action. We must use our voices to contact the politicians and legislators in our districts and demand social and judicial changes.

Great to see impactful names use their platform and reach to encourage action rather than (welcome, but ultimately placatory) well-wishes.
