New Usher alert!

The R&B crooner has uncaged the video for ‘No Limit’ – the latest single to be lifted from his eighth studio album.

Featuring Young Thug, the cut follows mainstream effort ‘Crash.’

See Mr Raymond in action below…

Update: After a period of exclusivity on TIDAL, the visual is available for all to watch on VEVO. Check it…

Finally! Usher slaying with the choreography again.

Much like the song, his movement is fresh, on-trend, and complimentary to everything he’s loved for.

Sure, the budget is being used rather “economically.” But we have no complaints when Ush has – at last – aligned the right song and performance.

Kudos!

ugh…tidal is gonna be the death of these artists…by the time its released to the masses the interest is gone

    • Ughhh August 5, 2016

Right! This video is late anyway. This song is already reached its peak and Usher needs to realize that nobody is checking for him like that to buy a Tidal subscription to see or listen to his music.

      • Foxx August 5, 2016

This song is still climbing the charts every week, so the timing of the video isn’t really late. There have been plenty of times when the video comes out weeks later, so this isn’t a bad thing. How can you say the song reached its peak, when the song is still new? lol Get outta here with that BS.

      • Ughhh August 5, 2016

The song came out in late May maybe early June. It’s August and Usher isn’t a new artist let alone an artist that puts out a song and it needs to gain momentum. If the song was going to do well it would have by now.

      • Foxx August 5, 2016

This song came out in early June and had its first performance in late June. If the song was doing terrible, it wouldn’t be climbing the charts and reaching top 10 on some of them. Mind you, I Don’t Mind had no promotion, no music video and has over 126 million views on YouTube, reached #11 on the Hot 100 and became double platinum. I don’t think you know how the music world functions. A song doesn’t always instantaneously debut at the top or near the top of the charts, especially if you’ve been in the game for over 20 years. Usher is older, so it makes sense that his music is slowly gaining momentum. Remember he’s from the 90s and is a black male singer. He’s literally the only black male singer who is damn near 40 cranking out hits, maintaining and expanding his appeal. He’s a legend, you gotta respect that and understand relevancy decreases with age. Even MJ couldn’t keep up.

      • Ughhh August 5, 2016

Lmao this video isn’t taking this song anywhere it’s not innovative nor eye catching what so ever and the song isn’t that great to begin with, your essays won’t change my opinion. And you made my point from my first post. Usher is older so no one is checking for him enough to subscribe to Tidal. I have heard this song only a few times on the radio and that was through paid stations like Siruis. I don’t mind didn’t need promotion because it got radio play aka free promotion. The promotion isn’t invested in this song. On to the next one! That’s why he hasn’t even released the date of his album because his singles are grasping any momentum.

      • Ughhh August 5, 2016

        Aren’t *

      • Foxx August 5, 2016

Your point was also when you said that the song reached its peaks..which makes no sense because the song hasn’t even been out long enough for you to determine that. Also, I Don’t Mind didn’t get radio play till Jan 2014 and that song was released in November, but got leaked in June. The promotion wasn’t invested in that song, but look what happened. If Usher actually invested in promoting, it would’ve pushed it into the top 10 instead of the top 11. No Limit is actually being promoted by Usher, he performed it on tv and made a music video. He didn’t give IDM the same treatment for whatever reason. And this video may not be innovative, but the choreography itself is enough to bring more attention to the song.

      • Ughhh August 5, 2016

Zzzzzzzzzzz.you’ have more hope for this song than Usher will promote. Lmao this song isn’t that good. It’s reached its limit. The dancing ain’t doing shît because that’s expected. Lmao you wrote paragraphs for everyone on this post that don’t care for it. Damn did you write the song or something? Ahaha you take this comment section too seriously. if the song succeeds cool. If it doesn’t, not surprised lmao but in my opinion it’s peaked. Like it, don’t like it. Oh well.

      • Foxx August 5, 2016

You’re still ignorant to think it won’t peak, just because it’s 2 months later lol

  2. Janyoncé Turner August 5, 2016

    Oh Usher… #sigh

Stop trying to make fetch happen with this song.

    • Rosicky August 5, 2016

Beyonce’s current singles are as juvenile and soulless.

      • BEY>RIH August 5, 2016

Sorry and 7/11 are the only one of Bey’s recent singles comparable to this song. Both of those songs along with this are bops but the first two songs were top 15 hits and urban smashes. No limit is…..?

      • Rosicky August 6, 2016

        @ BEY>RIH

“No limit is…”…still new? The only other Usher single comparable to this is “I Don’t Mind” – which replaced 7/11 atop of the urban chart and peaked above it on the mainstream at #11…..without a music video.

  3. Prince Stan August 5, 2016

Usher is so tired and he’s been so for several years.

  4. BEY>RIH August 5, 2016

The song is a bop!! But tidal will sadly make it flop lol.

  5. Noah August 5, 2016

This was already in the top 60 with the audio alone. If it succeeds, I’ll just congratulate Usher for not obeying people who want him to consecutively release flop R&B singles, since there never going to support it.

    • Foxx August 5, 2016

and now that the video is releasing, it’ll only get higher

  6. StarXavi August 5, 2016

He looks good tho! AYE BAE BAE!!

  7. Mark111 /.\ August 5, 2016

Clinging to the youth will always be wack.

    • Coolness August 5, 2016

Exactly… I rolled my eyes THE ENTIRE TIME.

    • Foxx August 5, 2016

But if the youth is buying and making Usher relevant, then there really is no shame in his game, he’s still bringing in hits. It’s not like Usher abandoned grown music, though.

    • #JACKIE August 5, 2016

Well what else do you suggest? Not like the older R&B fans will support

      • Buke August 5, 2016

And the younger fans will? They don’t even buy music. All they do is watch it on Vevo/YouTube, then download it and convert the audio to M** if they like it. Older R&B fans are more likely to pay the $10 for the CD than younger fans will. Pandering to kids loses a grown artist their base. Kids and young adults aren’t gonna heavily support someone old enough to be their parent and his older fans aren’t gonna wanna be bothered with him trying to look and act like he’s 20. So in the end, they lose from all angles.

      • #JACKIE August 5, 2016

The reason usher still makes these type of songs is because the radio plays it. “I don’t Mind” was a terrible song but did way better than the other singles he released over the past few years. Explain?
Usher has always been current and his main fanbase was always younger. As he aged, so did his fanbase. Most of them are grown and prefer to spend their hard earned coins on important stuff, not an usher album.

    • Mark111 /.\ August 5, 2016

The young kids don’t care about a 40 year old singing. If you’re a great and talented that you claim to be, then just make great music and we will buy. But what these old head mess up at is instead of growing, they try hard to revert BACK. He can do whatever he like, but it’s clear that the new kids aren’t feeling him and the old head aren’t feeling THIS.

      • Foxx August 5, 2016

Uhmm..you do realize if he wasn’t growing or evolving, he’d be in the back of the bus with R. Kelly and every other 90s R&B artist. If he kept making albums like Confessions or My Way, nobody would hype that s***. He’d be another bottom of the barrel, washed up artist. He just had a double platinum single and has been in the game for 25+ years. I don’t know any other 90s male R&B artist who could have a top 15 hit on the Hot 100 without a music video, after 25 years in the game. Cut this man some slack. You say new kids aren’t feeling him, but why is this a top 10 hit on about 3 charts? Old heads are the ones who can’t seem to grow. If they want 90s stuff, listen to 90s music. Don’t complain in 2016 about how nothing sounds like 1996..because nothing is the same after 20 years.

      • Mark111 /.\ August 5, 2016

I didn’t say redo an alder album, learn to read. I said he need to make great music and not cling to the youth. For the past 10 year he have been hopping on the latest ATL or EDM trend. But whatever, clearly his audience or the new kids aren’t buying.

      • Foxx August 5, 2016

you can’t act like what he’s been doing for the last 10 years hasn’t worked though…and a lot of the young kids have been buying what he’s released in the last 10 years. idk where you get your info from. Also, I’m pretty sure he’s been trend hopping ever since the beginning, his very first album was very similar to a lot of the R&B back then..his song Yeah! was his first huge trend pleasing song. Clearly “trend hopping’ has worked for him. You can’t knock his hustle.

  8. Coolness August 5, 2016

Chile, I ain’t with this TIDAL sh*t. Just release it on ALL streaming platforms and get it over an done with. The song has slowly been moving up the charts but this selective bs is only going to hurt it’s chance for success. Plus, the video was a total bore. All I saw was Usher trying to keep up with his younger dancers who are hip to all the current moves. Yes, he doesn’t even look like he’s out of his 20s despite being almost 40 but all this trend-hopping is painful to watch. He didn’t even give me enough ab shots to be fully interested. 8701 turns 15 on Monday. I cannot believe this is the same man that gave us that classic album.

    • pat August 5, 2016

i hate ageism…. and im kinda guilty too…cuz if we didnt know his true age, this would be hot

    • eric August 5, 2016

I stopped watching once they started dabbing. Like you said, he’s following trends when he used to be the one to create them and have everyone trying to mimic him.

      • #JACKIE August 5, 2016

Usher has always done what was hot at the moment…

When crunk was in, he did “Yeah” and “Lovers And Friends”
When Brian Michael C** was the producer of the moment, he did “Let It Burn” and “Confessions”
When Rico Love was the it producer, he did “There Goes My Baby”
When EDM was popping he did “OMG”

Usher doesn’t really have a signature sound. He’s always been very current. Unfortunately he’s over 35 now, so it looks kinda silly.

  9. eric August 5, 2016

I’m old school, so this push for Tidal and Spotify is ridiculous to me. No one can put together a better mixtape than the listener who knows his/her own taste, and the exclusive content is nothing special, so why do I need to pay a monthly subscription to stream music and content I already own digitally or on CD? It’s just stupid. But back to Usher, I like that he’s bringing the color and style back into his image; makes him more appealing even if the song isn’t all too interesting.

  10. Lake Erie August 5, 2016

Man!!! Usher is 1 smooth MF!!! Lol. Had he came out with the video before his BET Awards performance, I could have said he brought the video to life on Stage because this video is to the “T” of what he did on stage that night.. … Definitely a good watch.. I don’t know why but lol…. Seeing Usher dancing like that made me also super pumped to see what Ciara’s coming out with next lol.

  11. Stephy August 5, 2016

He is so lost musically. I hate it. 🙁

    • Stephy August 5, 2016

wait…..At-least he can still dance tho 🙂

    • Mark111 /.\ August 5, 2016

He’s just as bad as Mariah.

      • Stephy August 5, 2016

I disagree. Mariah was still going platinum in her 30s.

    • Foxx August 16, 2016

Usher went platinum in his 30s too…where u been?

  12. Drizzie August 5, 2016

Yo! I just watched this video and it’s SOOO good! Much like you all I wasnt feeling this at first because Im like this is too ameteur for his caliber but the video made me love the song even more.

  13. Adam August 5, 2016

Ppl love to nag when Usher releases 1 s*** single, yet are nowhere to be found when he makes quality. Why is this more successful than “Crash”?

  14. Rancor August 5, 2016

I’m over Usher. He’s not the same artist I became a fan of in the 90s. It’s like he’s lost his soul and is now the music equivalent to a 40 year old trying to mack in a club of 20-somethings. Good luck finding whatever audience you’re looking for for whatever this is.

    • Foxx August 5, 2016

I guess you only listen to singles and not albums..sounds like you never his other single, “Crash” either. If you actually listen to his albums he delivers a lot of songs with soul, but “fans” like you seem to ignore or not support those songs. This song is more successful than his other quality R&B songs, but you should know the climate of music is always changing and songs like this one are whats relevant and poppin today.

    • Foxx August 5, 2016

      • Svetlana August 5, 2016

You are preaching with this one right here Foxx! Ush has released so many quality singles over the years, but people ignored them. As soon as he releases something a little more radio friendly and trendy, the so-called fans come out of the woodworks fuming. What kind of fuckery?

  15. Foxx August 5, 2016

Lol. This is like the most petty, ignorant, trolling, and hateful website I’ve ever seen. I feel like a whole bunch of hating ass black people (and others) gather on this website and comment spiteful things because they have nothing better to do.

  16. Svetlana August 5, 2016

Usher has been in the game for 20 years. Do y’all expect him to still do Confessions numbers? The fact that he’s still able to get platinum singles and top 20 hits so far into the game is proof that he’s still relevant. Beyonce, Usher and Mariah are our top acts from the 90’s who are still making noise. Even Brandy and Monica are still relevant on a smaller scale. We need to cherish our artists, not throw them away after they hit 30 like the pop fans do…

    • Danzou August 5, 2016

Don’t worry. Only white people throw aways artists. Black artists will always get tributed by other artists cuz we’re a loyal demographic.

      • Tim Brown August 5, 2016

        Very true!!!

  17. Chileplease August 5, 2016

This is what happens when youth is placed higher than true talent. When the artist turns 40, they don’t know what to do with themselves (r Kelly). Back in the 70s, 80s and early 90s, maturity is what sold. You had 40some year old Tina Turner and Aretha Franklin making number 1 hits. And the younger artists at the time were giving off a more mature image (Anita Baker, Toni Braxton, Luther vandross etc). Everyone is trying to appeal to kids for some stupid reason.

Wow Smh the music video should have been came out like in June

    • Foxx August 16, 2016

Music videos don’t always come out near the song release, this isn’t new

  19. Greg_N_Greed August 8, 2016

ok, Chris Brown at it again!

  20. s.a August 9, 2016

This vid reminds me of old usher. Video is dope have to crash and no limit visuals are on point.
Good kisser would have been a hit if he was a bit aware at that point

  21. s.a August 9, 2016

    say*

  22. s.a August 9, 2016

this video has made me listen to this song again and again.

  23. Eddie Casebeer August 25, 2016

I’m a big fan of Usher. To have an R B artist make music about me and my career—that let me know we did something right. From Future to Young Thug—I think Atlanta’s more relevant now than it’s ever been, musically and culturally.
