Beyonce Makes Fortune’s Most Powerful Women List / Only Celebrity Featured

Published: Friday 9th Sep 2016 by Sam

Despite being two decades into the game, Beyonce‘s brand continues to grow from strength to strength.

Just ask Fortune’s, who’ve named the entrepreneurial singer as one of the Most Powerful Women In The World.

Full story below…

A series of power plays in the realms of music, touring, business, and fashion saw the 35-year-old earn her spot on the coveted tally.

Included are her blockbuster ‘Lemonade’ LP, athleisure line Ivy Park, and recent investment in promising drinks startup WTRMLN WTR.

Notably, the list – usually comprised of 50 wonder women, was specifically expanded to include Queen Bey. In doing so, the icon became the only celebrity named and is also the youngest female featured. [Source]

      • Mad Cause I’m So Fresh September 9, 2016

Not even when she made that grand announcement about her going veagan for 22 days????

      • Baddiebeymyfav September 9, 2016

@mad cause I am so fresh
NOPE not even. I am proud that she went through with her 22 days vegan diet and looked great afterwards. Anything else you’d like to know??

    • Miguel September 9, 2016

Love the fact they expanded thelist for the queen. “Queen bee is the 51st most powerful woman in the top 50…” Making you doubt about your counting abilities 50=51… Lol
      When will your faves?

  2. #JACKIE September 9, 2016

You can’t deny her power. Now watch stans of models with mics come in here seething.

    • Surprise..(DEC 2013) September 9, 2016

      Well this is nothing new…LMAO

    • Datredd23 September 9, 2016

What is Ciara then a glorified backup dancer

      • Yellow Diamonds September 9, 2016

Kii not even that! She hasn’t had a job in music in 7-8 years! I guess she’s a model with no mic that gets no ads. Riri gets more ads than this supposed model herself

      • JOHNVIDAL September 9, 2016

At least Ciara can DANCE. She sure slays at that. He is talking about those talentless models who are not good at ANYTHING.

      • #JACKIE September 9, 2016

Read these b****** JohnVidal. Look at all of the hit dogs HOLLERING. Kii.

She played such a role in the woman I am today. Her influence helped me gain my confidence and self esteem. She taught me that black is beautiful and so is looking like an African woman. She is inspirational and I can testify of her being a great role model for me as a woman too.Nothing but love here.

    • Suicide Blonde September 9, 2016

She taught me that black is beautiful and so is looking like an African woman.

      • HailLegendBeysus September 9, 2016

You truly are ignorant arent you? How are you going question how a BLACK woman feels about another BLACK woman when you yourself said you were Swedish. Who are you tell a black woman which black woman she should look up to?
Your so white washed and you don’t even realize it. I just about died seeing the “I try to be unbiased” comment below. You are very biased when it comes to artists of color. I love how in the gaga post I posted a vid of her clearly taking notes from ZZ and i said i hope she credited him and you left a reply saying It was just a small part. You damn well know if that was Beyoncé or Rihanna you would NEVER have said that! You would be talking a different tune.

  8. Suicide Blonde September 9, 2016

It has been a great year for her, so of course she was going to be on the list, I’m surprised Adele’s name didn’t make it, but I can see why, Beyoncé was on everyone’s mouth this year (for some controversial things), being talked about is some how seen as influential, besides, the entertainment world has been boring this year, so her being named the most powerful celebrity this year makes sense.

    • Surprise..(DEC 2013) September 9, 2016

      • Suicide Blonde September 9, 2016

Boy, wasn’t the kkk an American thing?…….I’m Swedish, we are actually one of the most tolerant people on earth, don’t believe it, just google it. Btw, I have always given credit to Beyoncé when needed, the old commentators know this, I’m too correct as a person, I don’t allow myself to be biased, that’s one of my self-imposed rules.

      • ANNA September 9, 2016

Lmao what do you mean by ‘tolerant’, as if you have to tolerate the presence of other races? you’re full of sh*t!

      • Suicide Blonde September 9, 2016

You didn’t get what I said but that was expected.

      • ANNA September 9, 2016

More importantly, did you understand what I meant when I said you were full of Sh*t? SHUT TF UP

    • Surprise..(DEC 2013) September 9, 2016

Let’s be honest, even tho i love adele and i tolerate 25…aside from hello, adele hasn’t really been talked about in that way this year. Its very clear 25 won’t be as memorable as 21 was or even come close and rightfully so, it is not as good as 21. Of course she sold more than everybody and their mothers, but aside from sales..the 25 ear has been boring, and the album being mediocre has something to do with it.

      • Suicide Blonde September 9, 2016

    • Metzo September 9, 2016

Adele’s not featured because selling tons of albums alone doesn’t make you powerful. Adele has made no cultural impact in the music industry since she came out.

      • Suicide Blonde September 9, 2016

And that is what I mean it.

    • Surprise..(DEC 2013) September 9, 2016

Hmmmmm but i thought Bey was irrelevant and a lesser brand???? She stays being the QUEEN of the entertainment industry! While other’s need 9362726 deals with company’s Bey just needs her tours albums and Parkwood clothing lolol!!!!

    • HailLegendBeysus September 9, 2016

Also I love the fact they simply named Bey as The Queen ??????

      • King B September 9, 2016

IKR. You know in my country, whenever they play her songs, they wouldn’t say the songs are from Beyoncé, instead they simply just say ‘Queen B’. Instead, almost every websites simply just called her Queen B.

  11. Baddiebeymyfav September 9, 2016

What an honor to be the most powerful female entertainer in the world. Kudo my Queen! You are highly favored!????
