Teyana Taylor still has tongues wagging weeks on from the premiere of Kanye West’s ‘Fade’ video.

The ascending star shone as the centre-piece of the sensual visual and, in doing so, etched her name in the minds of the masses. Many of who didn’t know who she was.

To further cement her “one to watch” status, the 25-year-old stopped by The Wendy Williams Show today.

During her sit-down, she dished on the video, the emotional moments that led to her liberation, husband Iman Shumpert, their daughter, and more.

Check out the chat below…

Great to see Teyana getting her dues.

From a media standpoint, there’s a little refining needed. But, at this stage, it’s just cool to see folk uttering her name and acknowledging her raw talent.

Fingers crossed that she has great material coming to capitalize on her current “moment.” Her 2014 debut ‘VII’ didn’t wow us in the way it did some R&B purists; but whatever the case, the game is hers for the winning. Now more than ever.

She is did an EXCELLENT job by turning the attention back to the video and away from that comparison.(Interviewing 101)

i disagree i dont think she needs fine tuning or media trying she off EXTREMELY well likable and down to earth. She made me want to be her friend a root for her. Not taking herself to serious just having fun. Thats why RIHANNA is so successful cause its no B.S its her being her. She is funny not her DEMANDING “shoe cam” lol love to root for the under dog.

I Agree, i couldn’t see where Media training was needed.
What annoyed me though was Wendy and her research team are always getting information wrong

She received attention for the way that she looked, not her talent.

I still don’t see the big deal. Sure she has a good body, but so do a million other girls. I don’t see why everyone lost their damn mind over hers.

Here’s the thing, at every award show there is that stand out performance or performer…this time it was a relative unknown brown skinned girl Amen to that! Let her shine!

  9. TRUMP/PENCE 2016 – Make America Great Again! September 21, 2016

She has more talent than Rihanna – which doesn’t say much, but still…

He is not her husband and he’s cheating on her. She has a good body, yes, but she needs etiquette lessons

  11. Kitty Puurrzz September 21, 2016

She needs NO refining. I feel like she’s being 100% herself & talking to us as if we’re her homegirls… I love it. Happy she’s not acting fake like Brandy & Ciara. Those are 2 girls who i feel are just not genuine at all!
