A supporter of the mogul’s TIDAL streaming service, Prince recorded a number of songs throughout his career which he did not release before his passing earlier this year.
This week, the Purple One’s fans have learned that Jay-Z hopes to acquire these songs for himself.
How much he’s prepared to pay the performer’s siblings for them?
$40 million.
Sources close to the family reveal that the rapper flew them to New York City to present his offer to them and is aware that Tyka, Prince’s sister, must receive permission from all of the singer’s brothers and sisters before placing her name on the dotted line.
