Kendrick is smart about the songs he chooses to collaborate on…Bad Blood went #1 and received a Grammy nomination for Best Pop Duo/Group Performance…Freedom is FIRE and will probably receive a nomination as well, if Bey’s team submitted it for consideration…the submission list for the Grammys should be coming VERY SOON…last year it was October 15th or 16th, I think

Oh trust, she most likely did submit it. She (and Matthew) has always submitted her whole damn album to the grammys, lol. But due to it’s pro black, plus all the “ruckus” she had stirring during this past Grammy season, if it’s even nominated they’ll most likely give it to someone else and 10 times out of 10 they’ll be right.

Let Kendrick be the blueprint for a crossover rapper who first & foremost solidified himself with the streets. Still keeps it trill on wax, even on pop records like Bad Blood & The Greatest. Has woke joints like “Blacker the Berry”, “i” & “Alright” which helps to uplift our community. Still collaborates with other hip-hop artists despite competition. A king of rap who NEVER swaggerjacked and continually shows respect to his predecessors like 2pac.

Can’t wait to hear it. Go in, K-Dot.?

Not that shocking. Both are now Interscope artists, and don’t you guys at TGJ recall Maroon 5 had their song “Payphone” as a lead single with rapper Wiz Khalifa?

I guess I don’t see how this collaboration is much different. #shrug
