With just days to go before Lady Gaga‘s album ‘Joanne’ officially lands in stores, the Pop star has debuted new song ‘A-YO’ on the stream scene.
Produced by the singer alongside Mark Ronson and BloodPop, the high-octane cut is rooted in the raw sound promised for the project.
There’s been murmurs about this being serviced as the next single from the LP. And, upon listening, it’s understandable why.
Check out ‘A-YO’ below…
While not Gaga’s most compelling effort, the track is catchy and boasts instantly infectious hooks.
The likes of ‘Dancin’ In Circles’ and ‘Million Reasons’ may be stronger songs, but this is (arguably) a stronger single.
How this pans out ultimately depends on whether Mother Monster is eyeing hits, album sales, or both.
‘Joanne’ hits stores and streaming services this Friday (October 21st).
