Well alright, Miss Sevyn! Definitely has a bigger voice than any of her songs could tell you….this is a great time to talk about TONE tho…Whitney’s tone was angelic – very soothing and smooth…and when she belted, her tone was commanding but never harsh…and she could falsetto in the middle of belting! Sevyn’s tone is a little amateur night at the Apollo when singing Whitney (of course), but she definitely has more range and control than any of her songs that she’s released…I was surprised! She should get material that showcases that…and she looks snatched!

Sevyn Streeter really has what it takes to have her OWN lane. She needs to put out authentic material for her debut. I only liked her ep’s and I think she’s able to put out the right material and create her own lane for herself.
A lot of artists don’t see themselves the way that fans see them. Even Michael didn’t.

This definitely sets her apart from the tinashe’s and the gene aico’s!
My problem with her is her music. Her new song with The-Dream was really good but other than that,…no thanks. That song “all my love” was lackluster at best and that song she did with Gucci Mane was a total piece of trash and after I heard that I was pretty much done rooting for her.
This performance and her song with Dream changed my mind, I’ll definitely be checking out “Girl Disrupted!”
