The seasoned diva fronts the campaign for the aptly titled Mariah Carey Holiday Collection.
Ensuring to add a personal touch, many of the items that populate the range take on names of her songs.
Also, in the newly released commercial – which sees Mimi being well…Mimi – the song ‘Supernatural’ (from 2014’s ‘Me. I Am Mariah…The Elusive Chanteuse’) features.

This isn’t about singles or what could have been a hit — I’m sure they felt “Supernatural” was musically better for the MAC commercial. Lyrically alone, “Faded” would make a very poor choice to sell makeup.

You have to respect how hard Mariah grinds after all these years.., constantly writing and touring, she’s clearly learned to love this new way of living that she’s created for herself. Her tour regime seems to have given her her mojo back. Add the slay factor which is her current vocal prowess and it’s a home run. I cannot wait to hear what she’s been cooking up in the studio. Elusive Chanteuse was a solid album but I have a feeling the next project will be on some Emancipation level slay.
