With 2016 rapidly drawing to a close, That Grape Juice will be acknowledging the releases, events and moments which have made the last 12 months so memorable.
Polls are open RIGHT NOW, hence it’s time for YOU – the That Grape Juice faithful – to cast YOUR votes (as many times as you like) on the best and worst 2016 had on offer.
Category finalists were established using metrics of commercial success, critical acclaim, and online buzz.
Voting Closes On December 24th 2016 at 11.59 PM (PT)

These are the most corny awards. “Beyonce for being Beyonce” “Kelley Rowland underrated” (how are you going to nominatate people who have been more successful as a solo artist?). “Rihanna saying her album is platinum? No matter what anyone think, it’s certifies platinum!!
TGJ is soooooo lame and biased!! You cater to a kid fan base!! Grow up and stick to the basics!!
Her album has NOT sold 1 mil in the U.S.
Samsung paid for 1 million copies and gave the away. Also worldwide sales count. She made a business deal and pocketed $25 million. I don’t know about you or TGJ, but I didn’t make anything close to that, neither did a lot of other celebrities.

Rihanna definitely had the single of the year with Work while Beyonce had album of the year based on the combination of the Lemonade visuals and appeal of the music even tho the music was not outstanding. I’ll some this up. Beyoncé clearly had the hottest single and album of the year. Usher had the most underrated album his album was everything. Adele always slays. Rihanna and Drake work was a typical but dope collaboration. Best movie belongs to Michel’le. And the most shocking thing this year was Kim getting robbed.

Album of the year is Adele. Rihanna has had a stunning year in music as well & is Forever breaking records. Beyonce has the most impressive tour but her music is tragically boring. Kelly is a fighter. Drake had a commercially successful album.
