Is Adele bowing out of touring?
Potentially so.
During her final stop on the ‘25 World Tour‘ in Auckland, New Zealand this week, the charismatic star left her fans gagging when she announced she may not tour again.

‘Touring isn’t something I’m good at… Applause makes me feel a bit vulnerable. I don’t know if I will ever tour again. The only reason I’ve toured is you. I’m not sure if touring is my bag.’
Though far from definitive, this is a sentiment that she’s expressed after other live shows – namely this year’s Grammys.
Coincidentally (or perhaps not), the singer’s last four concerts in London this summer have aptly been deemed ‘The Finale.’
Whether she her apprehensions hold or she continues to trek the globe, Ms. Adkins clearly won’t be at a loss for coins. Her ‘Adele Live’ jaunt has been a mega-seller just like the album it was erected to support – ’25.’
What’s more, with touring not being a focus of previous eras, she’s proven this go round that can do it – and do it big – when she wants to.

She should stick to her word. No one wants to see her snorting like a p** like as if she’s a comedian. She should just do meets and greets and only sing at award shows, and keep making stellar music in the studio.

When your music actually sells, what’s the point of touring. She writes her music so her publishing and royalties are on point . I would just stay home and raise my baby.

Great artist. Solid vocalist. Inconsistent performer. Adele is very smart if she actually didn’t tour for a while but release music. That way when she does decide to tour again it will sell out immediately. I think Adele will be a modern day Sade.
Yea cause that voice can’t hold up. Everyone knows this girls vocals are paper thin weak like Rosies edges.
I don’t blame her, touring sounds exhausting. Doing the same number, night after night. Dealing with jet-lags… No, no, no I’d rather do a PayPerView deal and call it a day. How Madonna, Beyoncé and the like do it every era is beyond me.
It’s not for everyone. She doesn’t really need to tour, she sold over 20 million albums TWICE in an age that no one buys. Plus she’s a vocalist, touring is BAD for vocal artist. Mike and Janet made touring look easy, but even they stated that they went through hell each time. Beyonce makes it look easy, but even she gets tired.
And Beyoncé, Michael and Janet aren’t vocalists. 90% of Adele’s songs are extremely taxing on the voice. Mariah did it well back in the day but after 2-3 tours with songs that are so vocally demanding, it takes its toll.
Let’s not front like Adele’s songs are hard to sing. She dont have Whitney or Mariah type songs, STOP. This is lazy, touring is part it. She’s showing her puppet side.
Beyoncé and Michael aren’t vocalist???? 90% of Adeles songs are vocally taxing??? Beyoncé and Michael SUNG AND DANCED – just because their catalogue is not all ballads like Adele does not mean it is not vocally taxing for them. Beyoncé and Michael make singing and dancing on tour look easy BECAUSE THEY THAT GOOD.

I actually agree with many others, I believe if you have it in you to tou why not it’s a special gift to the many fans who never really get the vibe of live music & she indeed has live vocal to share but it does at times seem to be forced..?
She can do random shows at specific occasions, like select dates. She doesn’t need to tour.
Y’all still haven’t figured Adele out eh! She says this every time she tours , she says it will probably her last album , or that she’s never releasing a sad balled again. This is her way of marketing and getting the fans to feel like she’s leaving and then after a long period she comes back with Same thing and bang she’s got a hit. I love Adele she’s my girl she stans for the queen but she’s from the show business just like everyone else

I think these days people make a big deal out of nothing. Where exactly did she say “I will never tour again”? She had a good selling album, won numerous awards for it, and completed a new tour. Perhaps this tour and cd promotion is over and whatever people are trying to hear (because the words did not come out of her mouth) is untrue. She did not say she is retiring or she will not tour again so what is the point of this post?
