LeToya Luckett is pounding the promotional pavement in support of her third studio album ‘Back 2 Life.’
The indie set was unleashed last Friday and has been received well by fans and critics alike.
Upon its roll-out, it hit #1 on the iTunes R&B Chart.
Hoping to give it an additional boost, the Destiny’s Child original stopped by Good Day LA to perform the project’s title track.
Find out how she fared below…
Solid.
We’re eager to hear our favourite cuts ‘Show Me’ and ‘Disconnected’ receive the live treatment too.
coo coo I want to see her tour this era.. Love the album and Show me Loving You and Disconnected are some of my favorites. As far as live performances I like and want her to start dancing again doesn’t have to be a full out choreo but a little two step for now ya know but love Ms. Lady Love hope album goes #1
“Loving You” is a really nice joint. .. my favorite so far….
Mine too.
This vocal was so clean! Yes Toya! All that fast talking and harmonizing on beat aint easy. One screw up would of threw it all off. Real good, made me like the song much better. Also loved her kicking up the attitude by verse 2!
Um…no!!! They hyped her up. That performance was so lacking. She didn’t hit none of her notes. That was a dry performance.
She hit EVERY NOTE and better! Wtf are you talking about hater?!
Like I said…just because this song makes you feel liberated from the last dude you let n** in your stankin a**, doesn’t mean this was a good performance. Now stay mad and deal. Remember number one on R&B itunes doesn’t guarantee number one on billboard loser.
Girl stop playing and serve disconnected
Anyone with a musical background knows this is not an easy song to sing. SHE KILLED IT!!!!!!! Go Toya! LOVING it.
I support anyone that was apart of Destiny’s Child & I look forward to the voices live but her voice always troubled me in her soprano tones..I purchased the album but it’s not for me…
I’m liking the parts where she shows her live vocal growth singing through her notes and couple ad libs right on it.
She still bit shy with it but that’s a excellent start for her first live this era.
Want her to add bit more sauce and ad libs when the backing vocalist do their thing.
Love her.
How many units she is expected to sale? I havent heard any predictions.
Sadly only a little over 3K. When streams are added her album won’t even make top 50. I know albums aren’t selling the way they used to but damn her numbers are really low.
