Azealia Banks Quizzes Lady GaGa Over R.Kelly Endorsement

Published: Tuesday 18th Jul 2017 by David

For many in the music industry, R. Kelly‘s alleged targeting and abuse of African-American children stands as an open secret.

Shunned by some for his alleged grooming of the late singer Aaliyah when she was a teen, Kelly now finds himself facing more drama after the parents of several young women have called for help after learning that they may have been turned into the singer’s sex slaves.

This news has disturbed the rapper Azealia Banks who has taken to Twitter to reveal that she is disappointed in her former management mate Lady GaGa for collaborating with Kelly on a remix to her song ‘Do What U Want.’

Why Banks feels GaGa saw nothing wrong with working with Kelly but went on to support Kesha after she accused Dr. Luke of assaulting her?

GaGa is yet to answer Banks’ criticism.

Do you agree?

Gaga is very talented, the most among her peers, that’s undeniable but I have always said that she is the fakest artist in the history of mainstream Pop music, her persona changes every three months, the fact that she is talented shouldn’t be used to excuse her wrongs.

    • Stephy July 18, 2017

Umm Gaga did nothing wrong. The whole damn industry (and overall WORLD) is “fake”. And last I checked, it’s not against the law to be a fake persona/person.

      • S****** Blonde July 18, 2017

Didn’t said she did something wrong, but I understand what Banks is saying, also, being fake is not against the law but it’s actually a very bad trait on a person.

      • Stephy July 18, 2017

Well, then the whole industry is filled with “bad trait” ppl.

    • JOHNVIDAL July 18, 2017

Azaelia Banks is crazy and pretty much nothing she says is understandable if you take into account her whole behaviour. So she could have kept this. Lady Gaga is not faker than 90% of the people in the industry.

It’s weird to me that GaGa came out as being sexually assaulted and had this huge story about it but collabed with a known sexual predator.

        @ dreazy Clock it!!!

No lies were told. They don’t think black or Latina girls are worth fighting for because we’ve all been brainwashed into thinking that these girls can handle abuse because they’re built for it. All of this stems from slavery and how the West was able to justify it. Gaga, I was going to buy your new album but now I remember why I don’t trust you.

You h*** be the first ones to put YOURSELVES down
She is an weak disturbed sick NYC bish

      • Kesha Pray July 18, 2017

Not quite. Systemic and institutionalised racism is what puts minorities down. I always find it fascinating that people who support LGBT rights can recognise how systemic abuse works and how policy affects our day to day lives yet suddenly go blind when they’re asked to see how the same thing applies to people of colour.

This girl is so obsessed with race.

      Like almost 95% of Americans.

I don’t understand why Gaga would owe Azealia Banks an answer for R. Kelly’s behavior. Like are you serious? Do you think the court will charge her along with him for collaborating? is you for real honey. All our parents were bopping to R.Kelly and ya’ll were singing his songs for graduation so just chill. Azealia you are NOT entitled to people’s sympathy and doing stuff like this proves your’e undeserving.

    • Kesha Pray July 18, 2017

YOu foool! The reason pull support from people who commit crimes is so a message is sent to society which says “none of us should endorse anyone who engages in this behaviour.” If Gaga saw the power in not working with Dr. Luke why didn’t the same rule apply to someone who has been grooming teenage girls for r*** for years.

Miss Banks, sometimes it ain’t about chu boo boo…it really ain’t! Damn, can’t you get that through your bleached white skin? Or are you going to act like it doesn’t matter that the promo picture you sent out looks like you’ve been playing in flour? She tried to put that weave over her nose cause it didn’t look right being that pale lol…I can’t with this girl…everything is a personal vendetta…that’s why Iggy needs to keep her taser in her purse chile….you can’t trust this BISH…you really can’t! And the next time we see Miss Banks she’ll be La Toya Jackson lol…the self hate is real in these streets…preaching “black girl” this and that, when you trying to be Casper The Ghost by this coming Halloween ?

    • TheChiromancer July 18, 2017

A lot of people label a person lightening their skin to “self-hate”, but I don’t believe that is the case for every person that pursues that avenue. She is a fool and a half, for sure, but I don’t think her words can necessarily be discredited due to her lightening her complexion, or whatever the heck she is doing.

I can see if the Gaga/R. Kelly collaboration happened after these NEW allegations, but it didn’t. So I’m lost. Some black men really deserve a second chance. And to top it all off..She’s eager to work with Chris Brown so bad as if he didn’t pound Rihanna’s face in.. so what is she really saying?

  8. TAYLOR SWIFTS NUMBER 1 FAN!!! July 18, 2017

Why did hen pee on a 14 year old? Was his aim that bad?

  9. SMH July 18, 2017

Azealia whatever her name is needs to have several seats. She supports Donald Trump & skin bleaching, so she is in NO position to judge ANYBODY. Gaga should simply tweet “STFU B*tch”.

Gaga is an industry puppet and she’s not talented, she was sold as talented and people bought what the industry wanted them to eat but she did not deliver any classic pop song and her career went downhill after she believed her own hype and got rid of the people the record company surrounded her with to build her image and sound. Her voice is strong but lacks emotion.
That said she was supporting R. Kelly in 2013, it was not a remix but a real collab on her album. She said in interviews at the time that she wanted to work with him because she felt like he was mistreated by the media like she thinks she is. Basically calling lies all what was being said about him and the rapes he was accused of. The song is about letting someone use one’s body as he pleases which is dusturbing considering who R. Kelly is, she tried to be controversial even shot a video where she was abused by Kelly and directed by Terry Richardson another serial r*****. When the backlash fired back in her face she put her name on a song Linda Perry wrote ENTIRELY (and Perry was attacked for revealing this info publicly) on her own about r*** and went into a campaign. the song was aful, the campaign was about saving gaga and not about r***. But people still buy this because they are brainwashed by the industry and gaga is the industry’s little pet. She does not sell concert tickets anymore, does not have a genuine hit since 2011 but she’s still sold as a current pop star. Once her contract will be over, she will be nowhere to be seen or talked about. She’s ALL industry hype.

I mean, she has a point.
