Bad news for Chinese Justin Bieber fans.
The Beijing’s Culture Bureau have officially issued a ban to the singer, preventing him from both visiting and performing on Chinese shores.
Read their statement below…
Responding to the request for a “detailed explanation” for the lack of Chinese dates on the upcoming Asian leg of Bieber’s tour, officials said:
“Justin Bieber is a gifted singer, but he is also a controversial young foreign singer.
As far as we are concerned, he has engaged in a series of bad behaviors, both in his social life and during a previous performance in China, which caused discontent among the public.”
It’s not immediately apparent what exactly Bieber did, but what is certain is that he won’t be heading to China anytime soon.
He will, however, be visiting Japan, Indonesia, the Philippines, Singapore and Hong Kong during the Asian leg of his ‘Purpose World Tour.’
As the saying goes, you win some, you lose some.
