Bruno Mars seeks to change the lives of those affected by the poisoning of Flint, Michigan’s water by donating $1 million to causes launched to support them.
I’m very thankful to the Michigan audience for joining me in supporting this cause. Ongoing challenges remain years later for Flint residents, and it’s important that we don’t forget our brothers and sisters affected by this disaster. As people, especially as Americans, we need to stand together to make sure something like this never happens in any community ever again.
Mars teamed up with his tour promoter Live Nation to donate cash generated from the Detroit showing of his ‘24k Magic Show‘ to the victims with hopes it will go a long way to reverse the damage caused by the horrific act.
