The media cycle may have moved on from the events in Charlottesville, VA. However, some of music’s most notable names – including Justin Timberlake and Ariana Grande – are uniting together in support of do-gooders in the region.

The Dave Matthews Band, who are natives of Charlottesville, together with Live Nation are putting on what is being billed as “an evening of music and unity that will be FREE for members of the Charlottesville and University of Virginia communities.”
‘A Concert for Charlottesville,’ which will also feature performances from Pharrell Williams, The Roots, Alabama Shakes, and Chris Stapleton, takes place on Sunday September 24, at UVA’s Scott Stadium in Charlottesville.
Though tickets are free, attendees are encouraged to make a donation to the ‘Concert for Charlottesville Fund’ at the Charlottesville Area Community Foundation.
Beneficiaries of the fund will include victims of the events in Charlottesville on August 11th and 12th, and their families, first responders, and organizations devoted to the promotion of healing, unity and justice locally and nationwide.
