Wilhelmina Boss Opens Up On Nicki Minaj Deal

Published: Thursday 7th Sep 2017 by David

Nicki Minaj made bank when she signed a lucrative deal with Wilhelmina, the modelling agency which stands as one of the strongest in the world.

Now, shortly before the unveiling of her new album, she has learned that her collaborator Bill Wackermann has spilled details on why he signed her.

What he had to say will astound you!

Positivity below…

Bill had this to say about his contract with Minaj…

Nicki is my queen, and I live for her! To be able to work with talent like that and say that you played any small part in their discussion of what moves contemporary culture forward, is a really special thing.

Industry insiders reveal Wackermann’s deal with Minaj is a lucrative one and was created to celebrate her success in fashion and beauty as she creates new opportunities for herself within these lanes.

The ‘Observer’ adds:

Wy would a  rapper with a solid fan base, 82.6 million Instagram followers and 14 top ten singles want to sign with a modeling agency? It’s to land advertisements and rake in money as the face of a brand, but also to improve their standing in the fashion world and open up more opportunities to co-create with brands. When an already established celebrity is hired to promote a brand, they’re bringing along their personality, their reputation and, most importantly, their voice.

The publication adds…

Naturally, this widespread exposure is almost guaranteed to result in higher sales numbers for everyone involved.

    Modeling agency. Fashion. Beauty.
Three words that I would never have associated with her.

“…to improve their standing in the fashion world and open up more opportunities to co-create with brands.”

It all makes sense now. This all stems from that drama she had with Giuseppe Zanotti when they named a shoe after her but didn’t want to collaborate on a shoe with her. As least she’s going the right way about it now and not cursing them out on twitter.

But does she need a modeling agency for all that and her agent book things for her simply based off her name alone? Yeah a modeling agency will have far more connects and offers than a music management firm, but those who want to work with Nicki will know how to reach her through her management.
