ZAYN’s solo journey looked all sorts of promising when he dominated the music landscape at the start of last year with the inescapable ‘Pillow Talk.’ Housing album ‘Mind Of Mine’ also received critical praise.
However, things somewhat became unhinged when, after a series of live show cancellations, the singer revealed that anxiety rendered him unable to perform.
Recently, he resurfaced with the PARTYNEXTDOOR assisted ‘Still Got Time.’ But, when the his collaborator unfollowed him without explanation, everything ground to an abrupt halt.
Will ‘Dusk’ be the release to finally put things back on track? Time will tell.
ZAYN, as a concept, shows much promise. He just needs to ensure he’s ready for what solo stardom demands of him and is equipped to deliver.
