The short film dropped minutes ago and sees the singer venture into new visual terrain with help from executive-producer Diddy.

With this project I just wanted to do something different that wasn’t a generic video. I feel like videos are kind of fleeting now.
Cassie’s comeback plans will deliver a new album, visuals and-if her fans’ prayers are answered- a tour.

I like I it, I get the story and the concept but I see where it’s lacking. I wish she had a big budget company behind her idea (like Parkwood has Columbia AND Sony). The idea of making a visual album with the songs threaded together in a concept as this one wouldn’t be a bad idea. It feels like this where Jay z and Beyoncé were trying to go with “RUN” but never got the idea off the ground and the preview just seemed like scattered backdrop visuals. Her acting isn’t that great but it also feels natural like she’s playing herself and not trying to be another actress. Seemed like it could be good in full.
