Ciara‘s accidentally 1,2 stepped into a shady situation thanks to what’s been deemed a GIF-worthy response to Christina Aguilera‘s stirring tribute to Whitney Houston at this year’s American Music Awards.
The highly touted showing saw the belter give her best go at Houston’s challenging ‘Bodyguard’ classics ‘I’m Every Woman,’ ‘I Have Nothing,’ ‘Run To You,’ and more. But, when Xtina took aim at the late pop icon’s signature hit, ‘I Will Always Love You,’ it appears she wasn’t exactly getting love from everyone in the audience (as evidenced by some perceived side-eyes from the likes of Cici and P!nk).
The infraction did not go unnoticed by Aguilera’s beloved fans, affectionately called #Fighters. See their fiery responses inside:
See the face Ciara made in the video below:

Ciara “allegedly” branding the performance as just “okay” after its completion:
I Usually Don’t Address Negativity But Since People Are Spreading and Believing It… @Ciara DID NOT Say “It Was Okay”. She Said “So Good”. Please Don’t Spread Untrue Things That Can Harm Someone’s Character. We All Know Ciara Is Not a Hateful Person ❤️ pic.twitter.com/atVzj7onqN

People are really doing the most! Pink nor Ciara were doing anything worth really talking about. P!nk’s face was giving us more like “I’m really feeling this” more than disgust. It’s understandable, however, the ‘Beautiful Trauma’ singer is getting the brunt of most of the “backlash” considering her longstanding rivalry with her former ‘Lady Marmalade’ co-star.
Update: P!nk’s responded to the hoopla. See it by clicking here.
