Miguel continues to pour a steady stream of new music onto the airwaves in the run-up to the release of new album ‘War & Leisure.’
Next up is delicious slice of funk/R&B ‘Pineapple Skies.’
A danceable jam, it follows previously released songs ‘Sky Walker’ and ‘Told You So’ – the latter of which arrived just last week.
Infectious on first listen, this may well be our favorite cut from the project thus far.
Listen below to find out why…
Fire!
Sonically, much of ‘War & Leisure’ sounds like it was born from the rib of ‘Adorn’ – just by way of its funky, retro, but current lean. It’s a reality that excites us in earnest as we’ve long wanted him to root himself in this sound.
This very much feels like a return to form and a lane Miguel can comfortably claim and work as his own.
‘War & Leisure’ drops December 1st via RCA.
Blacks need to start buying music
I prefer « Told You So »
Looks like she reverting back to his fashions from his debut ?
Another great record. Just pre-ordered the album. I cannot wait!!!!
When it started out I got chills because the base sounded ? but it went down hill. I prefer his first 2 singles but I will be still checking for his album of course!
Well I screamed upon first listen…this s*** is fire
It´s true it sounds more like the follow up his second and successful album should have got.
Yess Migel luv it
Vocally Miguel has a great tone!! I’m here for this totally!!??
