But he’s now coming under fire from fans of his comrade following a supposedly shady comment he made on Instagram.

When slammed by one commenter about the length between his releases compared to C. Breezy (who just dropped a 45-track album), the former B2K star had an “interesting” response…
Now, in the spirit of fairness, there are few different readings of this – some of which have nothing to do with Chris.
However, we’d bet Omarion wishes he used better wording. Because it could easily be seen as him remarking on the quality (or lack-there-of) of Chris’ releases.

Omarion said what we’re all thinking and that is that Chris Brown is a cheap musician. He thinks that recording 100 songs a minute makes him hard working not realising that he can only record 100 songs a minute because those songs are trash. He is essentially saying Chris is signed to a record label (hence “business obligations”) and he is independent (hence no obligations and no financial backing). He was signed to Rick Ross’s label back in 2012 and no album was released under that contract so he very likely is an independent artist now

I’ll only agree with you on Omarion being irrelevant but Chris Brown on the other hand is farrrrrrr from irrelevant. Chris Brown has literally outlasted and outshined all the Male R&B acts that debuted the same year as him (Neyo,Trey Songz/Omarion etc) . He’s literally the biggest male R&B star of the 2010s . He’s even doing better than Usher himself these days (Usher’s still the ? Tho). His songs are literally all over radio and he’s featured on everyone’s songs not to mention his new album going gold in one week and having a successful tour this year. You don’t have to be a fan but let’s not act like the man isn’t playing a huge role in music right now. Omarion last hit was because of Chris let’s not forget that.

I am still waiting on CB to have a “Confessions” moment. At this point I am really over certain acts that sing other people’s melodies on a sampled or trap “computer” beat! Jaquees did Avant, CB did Jon B, Tory Lanez did Brownstone…like where is the originality! These urban labels keep signing these basic voiced people w/ limited stage appeal whilst acts like Alessia and Charlie playing instruments and know how to make relatable/radio friendly material!! That’s the point of being signed to a major label!
