SZA Scores First Top 10 On Billboard Hot 100 With ‘What Lovers Do’

Published: Monday 13th Nov 2017 by Sam

With a mere matter of weeks remaining in 2017, SZA seems to have cemented herself as the year’s definitive breakout star.

For, the soulful TDE talent has crowned a year of achievements with her first ever top 10 on the coveted Billboard Hot 100.

Details below…

The 26-year-old’s Maroon 5 collaboration ‘What Lovers Do’ climbed 5 spots to #9 on this week’s tally.

Its ascend was powered by the following over the course of the charting week: 38,000 digital downloads; 16 million US streams; and a 79 million Stateside radio audience.

Lifted from the Adam Levine collective’s new album ‘Red Pill Blues,’ the catchy cut becomes the group’s 13th top 10.

In being SZA’s first, it bests her previous peak on the chart (the #32 climax of Platinum jam ‘Love Galore’).

The news comes after the recent Gold certification of the songbird’s debut album ‘CTRL.’

Needless to say, she’s winning! And deservingly so.

Y’all Rihanna stans need to stop acting like she put SZA on. SZA was well known before and had an established fanbase before she was on ANTI
