November 28th 2017.
On this date, much to the delight and dismay of some, the nominations for the 60th annual Grammy awards will be unveiled revealing which of the year’s eligible acts are in the running for gongs on the night.
Of course, after last year’s surprises, many anticipate this nominations day will be one of the most interesting date thanks to submissions made by the likes of Beyonce, Nicki Minaj and Hip-Hop newcomer Cardi B.
So, with said submissions in mind we ask…

Sit yo ass down. Nobody was tryna start a war then yo ass walked in. Both ladies are killing it and pretty much untouchable. Anti had more charted hits Lemonade sold more. Both ladies are good.

I’m thinking Kendrick Bruno and Ed Sheeran will dominate with Sam Smith and The Weeknd and GaGa being nominated but not winning. I think Pink might win one. I’m praying Demi gets a nod too.

Nope predictable and too focused on mainstream to give other forms of music a place on stage like they used to. Doesn’t help that this era of basicness is still going strong from rap to pop, and the people love it…
No they aren’t and especially since how they truly snub Beyonce with the win of AOTY even Adale said she should have receive that honor and I totally agree. I’m not interested in watching.
I think it’s great that there’s an award that isn’t just handed to B. Every other awards show gives her s*** just for showing up so I had no problem with her losing even though I believed she should’ve won.
Beyonce doesn’t have a new album to be nominated & Taylor’s new album came out to late. So I’m hoping they both at lest perform if not this is going to be boring. Side note Im not the biggest Cardi B fan but it will be interesting to see if she wins anything.
I wonder what artist will get as many nominations as Kendrick + album of the year? I’m thinking they may nominate Kesha because she overcame a lot this year or Gaga’s Joanne? Or Ed Sheeran just might beat Kendrick or Kendrick may win because Beyonce didn’t last time.
Why would Kendrick win because Beyoncé didn’t win last time?
Right Kendrick is a rapper and Beyonce is contemporary R&B. Nothing in common besides the fact that they are both black. Anyway, Kendrick might win because he has a great album and hits along with the powerful collab with Rihanna to back him up. The album was thoroughly good.
Anyway, I will be watching the nomination special but the not the awards because I found that minorities have to work extremely had to achieve the success that white artist like Taylor achieve. While I believe Taylor is good but 1989 was no where near Album of the Year beside the fact that it was popular and spun number one hits. (see the 90’s when Mariah and Whitney achieve the same feat with no reward from the Grammys) The Grammy’s played it safe that year by not causing controversy with it pick. Also I believe the Grammys are biased against albums with profanity and explicit lyrics which is why artists like Kendrick and Beyonce are long shots from the beginning. Notice I didn’t mention Adele. That’s because she deserves her awards because she has critical acclaim along with popularity, sales, and legit vocals to back her up.
Fifth Harmony needs to be nominated. They are the hardest working group out there right now.

Cardi b is overrated TRASH…if she is lucky enough to get a nomination she’ll be snubbed & rightfully so.
It´s been a very weak year again so i don´t know what basic people will get more nominations this time. I hope Million Reasons gets a nod for Song or Record of the year. Even though it is an old song it is eligible and it has quality and represents an entire era for one of the few real artists in maisntream. I guess Bruno and probably abel will get many nominations.
It’ll be Kendrick, Bruno and Ed Sheeran kind of show. Taylor Swift will define get a nod as well as Pink.
The value of a Grammy award has the value of any random award nowadays because Grammys are no longer about being considered the best is about who is the most popular or who can bring in the most advertising or marketing dollars. So whoever is nominated congratulations!!!
They’ll just end up snubbing Nicki yet again… she is well over due for a Grammy …

At this point they can post the winners names on FB and skip the actual ceremony. We only watch for the performances which have been mediocre as best over the last few years.
