As reported, Kandi will not be appearing on the fresh music due to “other commitments.” She will, however, will remain a part of the various other components of the reunion – including ‘The Great Xscape Tour’ and upcoming biopic.

Kandi should’ve just did it smh

  2. Gee November 27, 2017

This sounds current and I like the vibe of Xscape musically right now where they have a solid foundation and gaining new fans along the way due the reality show, tour, biopic, and new material. This is what I call striking the iron while it’s still hot.

lol meh, theyre a mess, and kandi thinks shes too good to do stuff with them together, so ill pass lol.

    • Anne November 27, 2017

I think it’s pretty irritating how Kandi thinks she is too good to work with the rest of the ladies. Obviously her housewives success has gone to her head but she could be in for a rude awakening if she thinks she could sell better as a solo artist. I hope Escape does well without Kandi just to put her snooty attitude in check.

It sounds nice n current enough. Tgey are teaching the youngin. Strike while the iron is hot

  5. WRTW? November 27, 2017

I see Kandi had the Nene Leakes syndrome, but I’m sure just like Nene she’ll learn the hard way.

    • audreyherbsburn November 27, 2017

there’s nothing for her to learn. kandi is set. nene needed and still needs housewives. kandi don’t need s***.

      • ??? November 27, 2017

lol if that was true kandi would be on her OWN tour and not still goat yodeling with these chicks lmao

  6. stan November 27, 2017

i’m torn about the kandi situation.

it’d be really nice to have her on board completely. on the other hand, kandi already has her own ventures going on and i can see why she would rather do that rather than going back with xscape.

Not here for it. We want the ORIGINAL members all in or not at all. Ya all tried to go on without Kandi and it was a no go. The same thing for En Vogue, no one is checking for the ONLY two original members parading around calling themselves “En Vogue.” Do you think Destiny’s Child would have lasted as long as it did if Beyoncé had been the one to leave the group? Hell no, as long as she was there you could throw anyone else behind her and call it a group, the same can be said for Diana Ross and The Supremes. En Vogue, Xscape, none of these girls are solo stars- no one was checking for them solo! Terry from En Vogue- solo album (flopped), Dawn from EV- solo album (flopped), Coko from SWV- solo album flopped, Kandi from Xscape- solo album (flopped). LaTocha- solo deal scrapped. My point is, not everyone is meant to be a solo star, or not every group can have interchangeable members. If it ain’t broke, don’t fix it. Count.l your blessings, and count your coins, you get to sing for a living! Also, I don’t blame Kandi for taking it slow, LaTocha couldn’t even fess up to her divabehavior, she thought she was gonna pop off as a solo star, talked all this mess and now she’s up kandi’s ass for another shot. SWV truly earned their Soul Train award- they have managed to get a long as a group, record perform and support one another for year. Also, I’m not here for anyone ever replacing Left Eye, while on the subject of girl groups.

lol bugyonce’s daddy was in charge of destiny’s maids so she doesnt apply here, everyone knows that roach h0 cant stand on her own two feet lmao

    • MusicLovah November 27, 2017

@Fifi, I agree with preferring the original line-up. However, what are the other members to do when that isn’t possible? Just give up? We have to respect the right of the other Xscape members to forge on without Kandi [Dang that just made me think..it’s funny the the first buzz song is named Dream Killa cause it could of objectifies what’s happening in the group]. Just because Kandi left, doesn’t necessary equate failure…look at DC and New Edition who achieved success after changing line up. As for solo path, I acknowledge the failed successes of Terry, Lotacha and CoKo, however, that could easily be attributed to lackluster solo material. Beyonce, Bobby Brown, Lauryn Hill and Johnny Gill could each failed in their solo venture…but for the right music.

Although I love each of the groups you named [TLC, Xscape, En Vogue] and prefer the original line up…i have to respect the right for them to pursue their musical dreams until the original lineup can reunite. BTW..i need TLC to get themselves a rapper [wink/Lil Mama] and stop being stubborn. Just because Left is no longer with us..doesn’t mean they giveup. :-(((( BTW…i liked your comment.

  8. Achooo! November 27, 2017

I prefer Dream Killa but I’m glad Xscape releasing new music. Purge Joker Face Kandi is not needed as she is the weakest link vocally and who would want to deal with her horrible tacky arrogant personality all day. Latocha, Tamika, and Tiny will do fine as they are talented and current. Seize the Moment!

    • Chile Please!!! November 29, 2017

Yes thank you! Was never too crazy about her shaky ozz virbrato in her voice. Just like you said they’ll be fine without her. The other ladies do more with their voice….they only specialty Kandi have is that high pitched goat whistle note.

  9. ??? November 27, 2017

lol mess like this is why TLC will always be the greatest girl group of all time lol.

  10. Kaz November 27, 2017

This sounds good. Really good. I’m here for it! I’m not here for Kandi or her attitude/position, however. She has “other” comittments yet she is still touring with the ladies night after night on stage doing shows. So why can’t she be free enough to hit the studio with them, as well, while on tour? Gurl pleaze. I hope they and the new music does well without her. Jus to make her regret acting high and mighty and too good.

    • DanYiel Iman November 27, 2017

Obviously she’s the reason “Xscape Just Kick’n It” actually aired on BravoTv…

  11. Casual-T November 27, 2017

This is okay, but the interest around these ladies is so white-hot right now, they could actually score a hit with the right song. I haven’t heard a major hit yet from this new revival of Xscape.

  12. Lester November 27, 2017

TLC should’ve went this route idk about xscape but this actually sounds like I’ll listen to it, I really wish kandi was in the group her tone is needed for that balance and umph but still it’s great.

  13. Vaughn November 27, 2017

That other song dream killer was light years better but this isnt bad tho!

  14. Omega November 27, 2017

I love Xscape – all four of them, but whenever I’d listen to older Xscape records it was always Kandi’s (and sometimes Tiny’s) parts that made me want to listen to that track again.

There is something special about what she adds to the harmonies and I really love her solos as well. Granted, I think the other girls have grown more/maintained their voices better than Kandi but she is still extremely essential to the group.

I don’t think the show was a good look for Kandi, but I don’t blame her one bit for being hesitant to be back with the group when she is the only one that doesn’t have a personal need to be back in Xscape.

  15. DanYiel Iman November 27, 2017

I’m not mad at the group, I hope there die hard fans will settle for the trio sounds especially since they didn’t the other 3 times they reunited without Kandi!! ?

  16. Electrikblue November 27, 2017

    I like Dream Killa better

  17. Linda allen November 27, 2017

I would like to hear all four group members but if can’t the three would sound nice but it’s better for all of them making music together like before I’ll still be there number one fan

  18. Lisa P November 30, 2017

With the negative comments about Kandi Everyone forgetting she had stuff going on other than the tour…..tiny was busy being a wife….which o love tiny also….but Kandi has a empire to run….just dropping everything and running back to Xscape is stupid….I mean I love Xscape always have….but didn’t Xscape drop Kandi once before so why should she drop what she has going on…..

    • Kim December 1, 2017

Eff Kandi with her arrogant, no singing, joker face, cry baby ass. I hope the group does well & progress without her. Kandi has the big head now and i hope karma pays her a visit soon. Kandi has a lot of people fooled but if one looks hard and deep enough there’s just enough to see she’s shady, phoney and sneaky as hell. As you can tell I’m not a fan of Kandi. Not a hater either, just see the other side and straight thru her BS.
