Today brings with it the worldwide release of K. Michelle‘s fourth studio album ‘Kimberly: The People I Used To.’
Coming in at a generous 20 tracks, the set sees the R&B songstress invite the masses into her world – a world that has shape-shifted in earnest since she hit it big.
Guests on the lengthy project include Chris Brown [‘Either Way’] and Jeremih [‘Takes Two’].
So what are you waiting for? Listen to the follow-up to 2016’s ‘More Issues Than Vogue’ in full after the jump…
I mean… how about simply uploading the Apple Music link? DUH!
This album is amazing. Seriously she never disappoints. I always look forward to K’s albums. Such great R&B and so consistent.
I love her sound as well!!
What I love about K is that she consistently delivers quality r&b music while showcasing her vocal talent and versatility. She is always real and honest and deserves much more praise than what she gets. Loved the album, worth every bit of the coin. Crazy Like You is such a great song!
Ppl understand we need singers like k.
I cannot get into her music since “Cant Raise A Man” it always sounds like she has a mouth full of tobacco
I like the songs I’m hearing…I’m gonna buy the album
Bops-A-plenty! K. Michelle always delivers a great album!! The industry pisses me off not giving promo to actual talent!! ?
Im shook. Never really cared for her since her mix tape days but this album is amazing. Im really blown away. I can tell this is the next album i bump on repeat. Last one was sza.
Take a break k Michelle, all of your albums are starting to sound the same, you have talent far as singing, but it’s not different about this new album
I agree. Her first 2 were good but these other ones are just poppin out left and right.
This is a great album. Based on the songs previewed, I didn’t expect it to be this good. Takes Two is a bop. With the right money behind it, Heaven is a monster pop smash. Several other outstanding tracks. She should’ve sent Run Don’t Walk to a country artist.
She wanted this album to be her country album but her label wasn’t having it. I think if she aligned herself with the righr people within country she could definitely have a new era for herself but I guess her label is boxing her in. I like her singles this go round(Birthday is stuck in my head) and that complex interview she did with Joe Budden made me appreciate her authenticity and buy the album. Kudos to you K.
PS. The Right One is STILL my FAVE song from her
