Dua Lipa Becomes Most-Streamed British Female Artist

Published: Thursday 7th Dec 2017 by David

Dua Lipa is the one to watch.

Rising to the top of Brit-Pop’s ranks with her cool brand of catchy and conversation-cuts, the vocalist now finds herself on course to casting a Union Jack-coloured shadow over the likes of Selena Gomez and Demi Lovato in 2018 now she has set her sights on the U.S.

Why some fans are calling her the one to beat? Because she is.

Lipa was the most-streamed female artist in the United Kingdom this year seeing her outperform efforts made each and everyone of her female peers with help from her latest hit ‘New Rules.’

Most streamed female artist in the UK! Thank you for such an incredible year. Thank you @spotify for your endless support. Thank you to my fans for always pulling it through. We are the best team! We’ve had so much fun this year and i’ve got more coming for you in 2018 xxx.

‘Rules’ peaked at #15 on the Billboard Hot 100 and appears on the star’s self-titled debut album.

So, let us know…

How high do you think Dua will soar?

Super talented girl, young, beautiful and a dope vocalist. She’s already huge in Europe now hopefully she’ll cross over to the U.S.

girl… she has like one hit song some cute tracks and a lot of filler so far. her debut got nothing on the stuff Demi’s been releasing as an adult and she still has a long way before being as popular as Selessor so why waste time with comparisons? y’all gon f*** around and make people as annoyed with Dua as they are with Rita Ora with all these hype articles
