New Song: Tank Ft. Trey Songz & Ty Dolla $ign – ‘When We’ (Remix)

Published: Thursday 15th Feb 2018 by Rashad

After weeks of teasing, Tank finally unveiled the official Trey Songz/Ty Dolla $ign-assisted remix of his hit, ‘When We.’

The ‘Savage’ cut, released in mid-2017, comes as Tank’s first Hot 100 hit since 2007’s ‘Please Don’t Go’ (thanks to some serious love from fans on social media).  Peaking at #86 on the tally during its height, the R&B vet is undoubtedly hoping the Songz & $ign collabo will help point it upward to a new peak.

Unveiled as part of the day’s Valentine’s Day music rush, listen inside for the heartthrob trio’s revamp of the sultry tune:

He’s a talented singer, with a great body which he loves to show off at Gay Pride Festivals. BUT poor material. poor Management. has always kept him from being “THAT GUY”. The talented ones (tank, tamia, chante moore, tevin campbell) always get left by the side of the road…………..

First of all, Tevin Campbell was HUGE in the early 90’s. He’s been battling his demons ever since. Chante had her time and so did Tamia. The one thing that most of them lack is star quality. A great voice doesn’t guarantee superstardom. You have to be the total package… With that being said, Tank has AMAZING music. He doesn’t have one bad album. His most recent album is his worst IMO, but it’s doing well and so is “When We” .

Wrong. They all have star quality. What they lack is the major mainstream industry backing to support their projects.

It’s crazy how one of his worst songs is his biggest hit in years. I’m glad he’s finally getting some recognition, but sad how he had to become vulgar to get it…

Black female should not support any male artist that does not:
    1. Promote a healthy, fair and balanced picture of the various shade of black women (ie colorism)
    2. Tends to exclusively date eurocentric standards (light skinned and/or long hair)

Imagine you posting up, propping up and making someone a hearthrob to black women when his attraction lies else where. Oh black females…you’ve been hoodwinked, had, laid-astray, run-a-muck! I beg of thee, gather thy self-respect and be about ‘you haftah respect me!’
