2017‘s ‘Bodak Yellow‘ carved out a promising path for B’s debut album ‘Invasion of Privacy’ when it rocked the Billboard Hot 100 by becoming a #1 single.
Its follow-up jam ‘Bartier Cardi’ failed to soar as high in the weeks after its unveiling and, by way of shockingly low pure sales, slipped and tripped out of the iTunes chart.
That’s sure to mean very little to the entertainer though. For, by way of pure sales garnered by her Bruno Mars‘ fronted ‘Finesse‘ and her latest single ‘Be Careful‘, she occupies two spots on the iTunes Top Ten!
As it stands, ‘Bartier’ sits at #94 on the tally placing it 84 places lower than ‘Careful’ and 85 spots beneath ‘Finesse’ which has moved over 2 million units with Cardi’s help.

I think she can rap I just feel these labels sign these artists and turn them into “who they feel they should be” — when she was dropping mixtapes she sounded more believable as to now it’s like lets see if it sticks . I understand the marketing side of it, but let artist be. Kind of like Tinashe her mixtapes was HER LANE she gets signed she turns into Ciara , Rihanna , keri etc .. ??♀️

B-Careful — is more relatable. Cardi has every chick / gay guy quoting lyrics from this song. Where as Bartier was cool , but it became annoying for me fast and whenever I heard the song 3 things came to mind — “Repeating Cardi Every 3sec”, “Offset done something”, and “I like Hot sauce on my chicken”.. I wish she would’ve used a singer for the chorus of BCareful.. I think it would’ve brought more emotion to the song.. when she sings the chorus it sounds like some one singing in the car to the radio..
