Fan of both, but honestly, in this situation, how can you fault Nicki for defending herself?
In this situation, especially with the leak of the original verse, it’s clear Nicki’s verse was changed at the request of both Atlantic and Cardi. So it’s quite disingenuous for Cardi to make it seem like Nicki changed her verse for other reasons.
At most, we can fault both for not telling the whole truth from the get go, but to put it all on Nicki is corny.
Nicki’s original verse was a diss to Cardi. Of course it had to be changed. Duh. The problem here is that once Cardi heard Nicki’s original verse she wanted nothing to do with that B|tch. Nicki is at fault for recording the diss verse in the first place.
Cardi Stole her Hair-Dresser, CArdi also started the Beef about LYING on the Motor Sport Situation. I have to give it to CARDI – she has virtually tarnished Nic’s Name and Brand all the while making us think she’s the GOOD GUY…. Cardi is vicious……She’s TURNED THE RAP GAME INTO LOVE AND HIP HOP Drama right before our eyes…WITH ZERO TALENT.

Please get your facts straight!!!!!!!!! The original verse was a dissemination towards a stripper turned rapper so by having Cardi’s name in the verse Nicki would have been dissing Cardi. Cardi likely heard the verse and wanted nothing to do with that teo faced b|tch Nicki. Nicki is not the kind of b|tch u can befriend if u are a female. Beyonce hired nicki, they are cool, but they certainly are not friends.

(Before I say all of this I wanna clear that I enjoy Nicki’s music. This is completely unbiased)
1) Nicki didn’t just try to make it sound like Cardi lied about an alternative verse. She also claimed that in the interview Cardi seemed mad / aggravated when Cardi is obviously super chill explaining the situation.
She also said that Cardi never gave her genuine props. Which is crazy because there are endless videos of Cardi talking about her love and respect for Nicki and even calling her a “legend” and an “Icon”. She also mentions her not being able to make it to the video shoot due to scheduling conflict and that Cardi should know because they share a hairstylist. (Cardi HAS in fact made it clear that there was a scheduling conflict.)
All to say this…Nicki is obviously pressed and is usuing this for attention. If she was this hurt about it then why wait to talk about it and tweet about it right when her music dropped? Girl bye
