As history has shown over and over, the bright lights of showbiz oft hides the darkness many stars are experiencing behind closed doors.
Such was the case for R&B star Bryson Tiller.
Having burst onto the scene with ‘Trapsoul,’ the crooner seemed tipped for bigs after racking up hits such as ‘Exchange’ and ‘Don’t.’
It seemed to the scene for a major takeover with follow-up effort ‘True To Self,’ which arrived last year. And when the LP debuted at #1, it seemed the narrative was playing out as intended.
However, it had little staying power and spurned no memorable hits.
As ever, in today’s era, folk on social media made sure Tiller knew their feelings – with some going as far as to tell him that he “fell off.”
In a surprise response issued moments ago, he actually agreed and revealed a secret battle he’s been fighting.
His words below…
Here’s what was originally put to him:
Wishing him the best.
This GIRLS stay depressed. Wait until they :
1. Have Kids
2. Have to report to work at 7am and work to 6pm – or get written up
3. Have very little time for themself
4. Have to raise other kids because the parents are in jail.
5. Struggle to keep the lights on
They full of shi_t. They entitled.
He would be really depressed if he were Bill Cosby Usher Trey Songz Or R Kelly because they keep lying on him Bryson tiller should be glad that he’s under the radar
Bye. Ain’t nobody lying on Bill Cosby or R Kelly.
And a ho responds back, i especially put r.Kelly lying on him over 15 years ho.
HE DID NOT FALL OFF.
I really wish folks would stop equating sales to album quality. Poor performance is no an indication of the music equality. True 2 self was an amazing body work. No, he didn’t have any big singles but all the songs were great from start to finish.
Tiller is a touring artist. He’s never going have huge sales. But people send coins and show out at his tours. Set it off tour was LIT.
I don’t like his music, but he seems very humble and grateful. I wish him the best.
I hope he really gets over his depression. Depression means that he is weak and could easily slip into depression if something goes wrong. He needs therapy. If he is gay he should come out and live his life. If he is not gay he should just live his life with less pressure. I think his team should just release some singles and see which one takes off the best and then make an album in the same direction as the single that takes off well.
