Veteran R&B group Xscape – now functioning as the trio Xscap3 – continue to serve their loyal fans visual accompaniments for the tunes found aboard their first ever EP, ‘Here For It’ (available now).
The latest gem from the set to receive the video treatment is ‘Memory Lane.’ Speaking on the slow-burning, sensual cut, the group members stated:
“We wanted this record to take listeners on a ride through the past when passion and love was real, back down ‘Memory Lane,'” the group says. “The lyrics — ‘The temperature was chilly we were wrapped up, in each other / Boy I really miss those days and I haven’t been feeling that way lately’ — are inviting.”

It’s missing Kandi’s signature tone…you see, Kandi sounds like Xscape, point blank period! Her voice is the distinctive tone that sets them apart…without Kandi, it’s just salt and they forgot the sugar *Mama Joyce voice* lol ?
They tried too hard. Should have just recorded some 90s style rnb ballads and groove songs like Just Kickin It and Understanding.

For their authentic 90’s sound they need Jermaine Dupri, I am glad that they are making quality music but the the video missed the mark the s*** vibes seemed a little bit too forced.
The song is good the video has a good concept the styling is very Atlanta though they need a more adult stylist like Shaun that’s worked w monica and the housewives
So much hate for 3 ladies can can all be lead singers without resulting to being the ooh and ahhh girls. This song is hot and I can wait to see all 4 ladies on the stage again.
