Normani‘s solo charge was just gifted quite the boost.
For, it’s been announced that she’ll be taking to the stage at the 2018 Billboard Music Awards this Sunday alongside Khalid.

The friends, who are both signed to RCA, will perform their growing hit ‘Love Lies’ during the NBC telecast.
Their showing will be sponsored by Pepsi Generations.
The news comes as quite the coup for Normani, whose group Fifth Harmony officially begun their hiatus this week.
For Khalid, it’ll serve as the second time he’ll take to the stage on the night as he’ll also be performing alongside Shawn Mendes.
Other stars set to blaze the BBMAs include Icon Award recipient Janet Jackson, Ariana Grande, Christina Aguilera & Demi Lovato, John Legend, and Camila Cabello & Pharrell.

she should be on to a new single, but I hope slays…. something about their first performance was a little off
It wasn’t off at all…they had great chemistry. Give them a break, it was their first performance of the song together, and I think they slayed it – well Normani did, but Khalid did what he needed to do.
Yasssss! Perfect timing. The song is still steady on the hot100. Love lies is officially a PLATINUM record so this performance will help gain a bigger audience for Normani. I hope she kills it!

Unfortunately my parents weren’t keen on having a drum kit in the house!
So I learn’t the piano instead ?
