The star revealed that though they aren’t feuding contact between them has come to a screeching halt. One reason why? An incident which took place at the MTV Video Music Awards.
The VMAs is such a fan-focused awards show, so having that energy around me, and knowing the people who had received the award in the past, made it feel like a big deal. Waiting through that speech was probably the most uncomfortable part. I don’t like too many compliments; I don’t like to be put on blast.We don’t have a friendship now, but we’re not enemies either. It is what it is.

I disagree. Lil Wayne put Drake on the map not Rihanna. They still play his old songs on the radio but they don’t play ‘Whats My Name’ so I have to disagree with that common. They are both decent “artists” in their own right.
LOL, what??? People weren’t checking for him? So Far Gone (Best I Ever Had, specifically) and Young Money put his name out there. Even Thank Me Later his debut album hit number 1 on the BB 200 and that was before What’s My Name, while Rihanna couldn’t get one until Unapologetic. What’s My Name was a successful song, it got Drake a number 1 single and I wouldn’t argue that it didn’t help his career. But don’t make it seem like Rihanna put him on. She didn’t. People were already checking for him and that’s why he made a good feature in the first place. Also, your comment doesn’t negate mine… in any way. It remains the same.
