“Listen, me and Rule, it’s so funny because we’ve been talking about that for so long, but I think now he’s like, ‘OK, now it’s time to do it,'” she told ET’s Nischelle Turner at the BET Awards on Sunday. “So we’re going to carve out the time and make it happen.”

While she did not confirm the exact date of its release it’s assumed the project will drop after her own serially delayed follow-up to 2014’s ‘Braveheart.’

I’m here for it! Bring Irv into the mix 4sho! Again, #ForTheCulture …. But at the same time, I would like them to bring some VERY current, yet timeless music to the plate. So I could see #MikeWillMadeIt jumping on board, maybe The Dream? Sean Garret? Just to name a few. Plus Ashanti and Ja ain’t never been bad with the pen game, so this project has def potential to be ground breaking on their comeback. I just hope they don’t get TOO caught up in the trends of today. I also hope they come up with some type of plan to build the buzz. A 3 leg joint tour could be starters along with a few buzz HIT singles before the actual single for the album.
