Where was Rihanna? Beyonce? Drake? Mary J? Why didn’t Toni Braxton, Tamia, Mariah do the Anita Tribute? When did BET turn into the B-list Award Shows. Cheers to Meek, J. Cole, HER and the Anita Baker Tribute which was all Black Excellence. The show was lacking Star power. WHY DIDN’T ANITA BAKER SING????? The awardee always performs…..

Agree that’s why nicki shouldn’t have gone they disrespected her last year and even having SADfaggRee throw shade i shouldn’t have heard his loud ass mouth when Jamie was talking to the queen

Nicki Minaj is not the queen of rap. She is by far one of the weakest female mainstream rappers. She has the most dumb a$$ lyrics on every song. She has yet to put out any classic hits. I just dropped the ?

this award show is a joke. and one has to look at the first award to see why

    • KillMonger Was Right (Tyler) June 25, 2018

You’re just mad because Pon De Forehead lost …yet again

  4. Ajm265 June 25, 2018

I forgot this is a thing BET lightest we’ll merge with VH1. That’s where the urban views are anyways.

    • Ajm265 June 25, 2018

      Might as well*

  5. DIABETES UNBOTHERED June 25, 2018

Kendrick is sooooo OVERRATED. 4:44 IS WAYYYYYYYY BETTER THAN DAMN. I have both albums, most songs on damn are Luke warm. But I am glad Nikki lost to a reality star lol

  6. DIABETES UNBOTHERED June 25, 2018

All of the winners are extremely obvious , they always kiss drake and Kendricks .ass

  7. Jeans June 25, 2018

Did anyone else notice Yolanda Adams in the audience singing MIGOS word for word? I can’t.

    • Detruth June 25, 2018

I was lmao at that! like let me find out Yolanda is a migos stan!

      • Moti June 25, 2018

She has a teenage daughter for crying out loud! I’m sure she’s up on all the latest lol

  8. SheReady July 2, 2018

If Sza performed songs from the same album she’s still promoting now at the BET awards last year, is she really still a “new artist?”

  9. Shelia Castro June 4, 2019

This sounds like the same list from 2017. I will never understand how Bruno Mars is the the winner of the R&B slot over Chris Brown. Who and how are BET picking the winners?
