Christina Aguilera is one of the founding forces of the TRL generation, as such it was all sorts of a full circle moment when the diva made her grand return to the MTV platform this week.
Xtina joined fellow veteran Sway for a sit-down chat about her brand new album ‘Liberation.’
Unleashed yesterday, the LP has been showered with ample praise from critics, many of whom have deemed it her finest body of work since 2002’s groundbreaking ‘Stripped.’
Having last released a project six years ago, Aguilera was clearly excited to dish on her latest effort. She discussed the ethos of the project, working with Demi Lovato and Kanye West, and more.

anyone else notice any other similarities?
I don’t agree, don’t forget that Christina’s albums are always kinda conceptual and many of those tracks were made a long time ago, some of them were ready before ‘Lemonade’.
Don’t even! This album was already in the making process with many songs recorded before marmalade or lemonade or whatever the hell that album is called! What Christina did on liberation has not been done by anyone in the industry!
Let’s see Lemonade was recorded 2014-2015 and released April 2016.
And if Christina recorded most of her songs in 2016 then why is her album just now coming out in mid 2018?
And what Christina did on Liberation has already been done by Alicia Keys, Beyoncé, Mariah Carey… Need I go on?
