    hahaha! Sooo another disposal single.

Right. The song is just not as good as most people want to believe it to be. If this was done by, for example, Tinashe, y’all would be dragging the girl.

      • Teflon Boy June 17, 2018

Ain’t that the truth! The difference is they love to love Beyoncé, even when her musical output doesn’t justify it.., and love to hate Tinashe despite her album’s being solid.

      • XYZ June 17, 2018

Beyonce is quite disappointing with her last releases. And I‘m not even a hater. Actually I go see her and Jay next month, but lemonade wasn’t all that, the singles with Khaled have been weak and this is just no. Sorry, but people are hyping this s*** up just because they think they have to good, cause bey and jay are musical royalty. Sorry, but the music is weak and sounds cheap in my opinion. It sounds like a mixtape, and not even a good one. But whatever, her fans will Hype this as if it‘s the second coming, knowing damn well that this is just s*** and that she is capable of more. And am I the only one that want her to sing again?

  2. Really June 16, 2018

I don’t know whether I should just stop listening to music for a while or if I should just get with the times. I understand that music has different eras there was disco there was rock ‘n’ roll there was funk there was R&B but I just feel like this type of music is not worthy to be called music. The beat is great but Beyoncé is my fave. I’ve always put her on a pedestal in terms of music and again she’s just going with the times she’s not doing anything wrong but I haven’t been able to get Down with this latest wave music. I’m so lame LOL but she looks beautiful.

    • Bam June 16, 2018

It’s not just you, he’ll i thought it was me til a convo with a bunch of people at my job made me realize many ( all of us ranged from 22-32) are tired of this sound and beat.

      • Its me Gowrl June 17, 2018

        Hater

    • Molly June 16, 2018

Right… don’t know the last time i purchased or streamed a new/recent album, and this “trap” b******* has been tired for ages now, can’t wait to hear what type of music will be mainstream next decade :): cause gworlll

    • Pat June 16, 2018

You aren’t alone. Stand your ground and do not pay for this recycled trash!

    • JuJu June 17, 2018

Reality is that yall don’t buy records as you age, you still listen to older music on a regular, so an artist may mature, but there is a limit to that if they want to maintain commercial relevance, they need this kind of music to capture todays streaming consumer. This is how they have had long consistently successful careers, but getting with the current. What makes them mature compared to today’s artists is that they have social messages, historical references and references to story books your generation would have read, like the Da Vinci Code.

      • Teflon Boy June 17, 2018

That’s a good point you made and it’s how they manage to elevate the trends they adopt and find ways not to lose their aesthetic while trying new things.., I agree though. It is time for the next evolution in black music. I’m craving something fresh and this isn’t it.

  3. Bam June 16, 2018

If the whole album sound like this no thanks I’m good…This sound is played out and uninspired.

    • Jasmine (The Real Jasmine) June 17, 2018

Your protein coated throat is played out too but still you continue to use it

      • Jasmine (The Real Jasmine) June 17, 2018

S****** get a life and stop attacking people. This is just a little music blog damn. You coward b|tch ass. You ain’t Jasmine. You are white racist trash!

  4. oopsisuckeditagain June 16, 2018

so disappointing to see someone with her talent continue this type of trash. its fine for soundcloud artists but she should be ashamed putting this type of material out at this point in her career

  5. Meme June 16, 2018

Dope visual for a horrible song. But what’s new, seem to be Beyoncé’s thing. She puts so much effort in how she looks and her videos, but no effort in her music. This song sounds like lil uzi or someone dumb wrote it.

    • Jasmine (The Real Jasmine) June 16, 2018

I agree. New artists dream of having nice music videos like this but it should coincide with a hood song. This song has its moments but overall it is forgettable trash music that is not enjoyable to listen to. Whatever happened to making music for people to enjoy and dance / sing too????????

    • BootzShza June 16, 2018

Like I said above, if this song was done by someone else, say Tinashe, everyone would be dragging the girl. But because it’s Beyonce it’s an automatic hit. I’ll pass on this song, but excited to hear the rest of the album though.

  6. Whoops ???‍♀️?? June 16, 2018

Wow. This is a great video. I don’t hate the song actually as I expected, but yeah it’s nothing genius or excellent. I loved the dancing, Bey needs to multiply that times 10, she looks great, and I cannot stress enough how much I love her more when Jay Z is nowhere to be found. He was not needed, for the tour, for this song, nothing.

  7. Keith June 16, 2018

Once again, Beyonce asserts her mastery of the visual at the expense of a decent song. Another tune that is beneath her talent and industry status….

  8. fatusankoh June 16, 2018

Omg I love the song and the video I can’t wait to buy it their is jo ever like my favorite couple god bless protect them and their family for life

  9. Fancy BISH June 16, 2018

Okay, this one is ??? ???

  10. Gee June 16, 2018

Expensive visual and a cheap song do not go together. Being honest had any other two artists put this out everyone would say that it’s trash but since it is Beyoncé and JayZ everyone wants to make an exception, truth be told this is simply garbage just like all of their musical collaborations as of late.

  11. DIABETES UNBOTHERED June 16, 2018

Everything sounds OKAY. I guess this is their first MIXTAPE/EP. I think GLORY would have made a better Album Title. I just thought they would do something more next level after 4:44/lemonade. This era seems pointless. And is it just a coincidence kanye also has under 10 tracks?

    • Teflon Boy June 17, 2018

I guess it’s just to commemorate their joint tour. Which, truth be told is a great idea. It didn’t need to be an album, 6 amazing tracks would’ve sufficed. They should’ve used Twenty88’s template and built on that though, as it does seem like an empty project to settle rumours and address their naysayers. Nothing wrong with that, it’s just a cheaper approach than their shared status deserves.

  12. JCP June 16, 2018

Wasn’t feeling Lemonade and this is even worse. How does she go from her self titled album to this? A hot @ss mess.

  13. Yolanda June 16, 2018

    Go to rehab, Nicki!

  14. Adele June 16, 2018

This song is trash. Ugh, I expected more from Beyonce.

  15. RealNegro June 17, 2018

Bet won’t sing. Shes not r&b anymore.

    • RealNegro June 17, 2018

      Bey*

  16. Bravo!! June 17, 2018

Of course, it going to debut high on the billboards, but after that, it dropping somewhere far off. I feel bad for Beyonce trying to keep JAY Z relevant. I don’t like the song. I only sat through the video for Beyonce. Reminding all of ya I love Mary j Blige. But this a bad look for Beyonce. Jay-Z just need to be happy he turned his corner career into a rap career, and his rap career into a business, but leave Beyonce out of your music dapples

  17. ROCK June 17, 2018

We need to pass a message to Beyonce by not overpraising and rushing to buy any crap she puts out.
I want her to flop badly.
Maybe that will pass the message across.
But I bet some people are already saying this is the best music they have ever heard.

  18. ROCK June 17, 2018

    CRAP.

  19. Yes June 17, 2018

    Cringe. So terrible.

  20. DanYiel Iman June 17, 2018

Beyoncé & Jay Z fans are illiterate, don’t know if they want a new album or just to hate whatever they do in GENERAL!!

  21. A&R June 17, 2018

This is how the world would look if black people were in the lead. Black royalty. Man!

    • blue June 17, 2018

in a building designed by a white guy and surrounded by art made by white people while exploiting black imagery to make a disposable song look meaningful?

  22. SMH June 17, 2018

    Mess.

  23. mr.m June 17, 2018

    flop.

  24. Chunbelievable June 17, 2018

I apologise for offending anyone with my viewpoint but this whole album is pretty awful. I’m a big Beyoncé fan but I’ve gotta give her some tough love here.

I appreciate that she’s trying to appeal to a younger audience but she’s really starting to alienate her core fanbase.

Trap music (or whatever you call this style?) only appeals to a small pocket of the music buying masses, most people over 25 aren’t going to be checking for it. It’s disposable, shallow and forgettable.

Her new image as being this ultra militant pro-black pro-women figurehead is also pretty off-putting in my opinion. I don’t enjoy having constant subliminal political statements rammed down my throat. Be inclusive to everyone and the word would be a better place for it.

    Jay-Z also looks ridiculous.

This constant contrived artsy nonesense also isn’t doing them any favours. They go about as if they are some kind of Royalty or celestial beings. It’s annoying and just makes the come across as stuck up and unrelatable.

They both should consider rebranding and rebranding fast. Over the past couple of years, they’ve really started to lose a lot of fans, and justifiable so.

  25. Ropeburn June 17, 2018

Top notch production for the music video but the actual song is s.h.i.t Ever since “Single Ladies” she’s been relying on the video to generate interest in an otherwise lackluster song. But of course her lapdogs in the music media will write article after article about how it’s the greatest song since the invention of music.

  26. JOHNVIDAL June 17, 2018

They are kind of ridiculous sometimes. Beyonce looks like an old lady here. I don´t see how this was fire. One thing is for sure: she has built a team around her that must be one of the biggest ever.

  27. ROCK June 17, 2018

I understand their need to cater to the younger generation but there should be a balance.
By the way..this is about the best video I have seen in a while.
It just doesn’t fit the song.

  28. Brazio June 17, 2018

Back 2 the drawing board…not good

  29. Rihboy June 17, 2018

THis sounds like a lemonade leftover that they threw jayz on. The album as a whole is just underwhelming. But it’s Beyonce. So they masses will eat it up for a hot second. And spit it out. She did right to release this during the tour.
