For, despite winning praise for her diss track ‘Shether‘, the rapper’s poorly-executed clash with Minaj has seen her lose their support of the Nicki-loving general public and forced to depend on a fan base who refuse to purchase her music.
The result? A crew of poorly-received tracks matched by even poorer sales. Unfortunately, there are some who seek to exploit this fact by targeting the rapper with fake news stories designed to aggravate her fans.

Check out her chart placements since the Shether fiasco and you will see that most of the songs she’s released or been on haven’t been as successful as songs in The Pinkprint era, let alone the ones before that. She is still very successful yes, but not the way she once was. Why else would the album keep getting pushed back?
