SZA: “My Voice Is NOT Permanently Damaged”

Published: Monday 18th Jun 2018 by Sam

SZA made headlines last month when she was pulled from TDE’s Championship Tour  due to illness and declared that “my voice is injured permanently.”

Concerned fans of the soulful songbird clamoured for updates and grew more worried as the silence intensified.

However, a positive development seems to have manifested.

Details below…

Taking to Twitter, the 27-year-old told fans:

She later revealed she’d be returning to the stage in the evening. Time will tell if she’s all healed up.

That said, we commend her soldier spirit and wish her the speediest and fullest recovery.

She has so much more potential and success in reaching distance.

This chick is really delusional, let’s be real! She can’t sing, she’s a studio singer like Jhené aiko. That’s it

I think some of these new singers should invest in singing lessons tbh. Adele, Sam Smith etc. It seems the new generation of singers beyond vocal talent, don’t actually have the foundations of a healthy breathing and vocal regime. It’s really what protects the voice when you’re physically tired but still have to sing a show.
