Teyana Taylor Teams With Jeremih For US Tour

Published: Tuesday 12th Jun 2018 by Sam

Teyana Taylor is dancing her way to the release of her long-awaited sophomore album ‘KTSE,’ which drops June 22nd.

And while secrecy shrouds the set (which, in long-form means ‘Keep The Same Energy’), the 27-year-old is wasting no time mapping out a tour.

Details below…

The singer will join Jeremih on the road for a five-week, 24-city trek across the US – starting in August.

While the co-billed jaunt (which will also feature soon-to-be-announced “friends”) is set to benefit Taylor’s new musical push, it also serves to plug Jeremih’s upcoming project – the first single of which arrived last week (see: ‘The Light’ featuring Ty Dolla $ign).

With tickets going on sale on June 15th, peep the full list of dates below.

Lol! I literally said the same thing. Her last album was so good that I’ll be still checking for this one but smh. If this is her team’s way of a SURPRISE? It’s more of a confusion.

I was right along with everyone else with the “Where’s the single”? But then I remembered, she IS signed to Kanye’s label and he’s doing this whole, ‘mention the album and release date 2 weeks in advance’ thing. Oh, and they’re calling EP’s and mixtapes albums now and selling them so don’t be surprised if it’s only 7 songs. Kanye is like “just get this stuff out there man, who cares if it’s good?” I’m sure he’s glad to finally be freeing his hands of stuff he’s been working on for however long, even if it IS only half an album worth of music. I hope it’s good cause VII was awesome and then ‘The Cassette’ was a pleasure as well.

I see no lies. Kanye thinks he’s anti-establishment and disruptive and whatnot, but the whole “a new album every week” campaign is actually kinda annoying.
Anywho, I’m definitely here for Teyana and I hope she does well (even with little to no promotion)!!!

This GOOD Music Marketing Strategy is DUMB and only benefits Kanye. None of the other artists who are releasing projects can afford to not have singles and videos out prior to rollout whereas it may not affect their first week sales/streams but it will affect the legs that the albums could have and unless they going Gold or Platinum in the first week it takes a lot more than one week on the Top 10 to make an album successful.

you betta preach! what a mess of a rollout
