Ariana Grande has many wins under her wig, but thus far a chart topper on the Billboard Hot 100 singles chart has managed to elude her.
Indeed, despite consistently coming close with a succession of #2’s, the second spot has thus far been her peak on the coveted count.
With new album ‘Sweetener’ due next month, all eyes are on her commercial performance. Especially given her raised profile over the last year.
For Ari, however, she’s more content than bothered.

Also, with two of her three prior released albums opening at #1, it’s easy to see why she’s not losing any sleep over singles – particularly when she’s made it commonplace to rack up top 5s left and right.
Still, it does beg the question: why has Ariana not scored a #1 single yet? Let us know…
