Beyonce is renown for pushing the envelope and new album ‘Everything Is Love’ is no different.
Alongside husband Jay-Z, Queen Bey shocked the world with the video for the set’s focus single ‘APESH*T’ – which was lensed at the Louvre in Paris.
Now, it appears the superstar has her eyes set on another iconic venue – the Colosseum in Italy.
Per Huffington Post Italy, the diva allegedly requested permission to shoot a music video in the Colosseum between July 7th-8th.
However, because the application was made too close to the proposed filming date, it was apparently impossible for the Ministry of Cultural Heritage to expedite the acceptance process.
Still, it appears it’s may well be all systems go as the Ministry is said to be willing to green-light the shoot and are actively working to schedule a new date.
If Bey is pushing to pull off what it looks like (historic venues for the ‘Everything Is Love’ visuals), then she’s once again proving that she’s consistently willing to up the ante.
In an era where so few are giving videos their just due, Mrs Carter is making it her primary vehicle of slayage – much like the Michael Jackson‘s and co before her.
More power to her.
