“Clive Davis Presents: A Tribute to Aretha Franklin” is the working title of a forthcoming all-star tribute in the works to honor the remarkable career of the Queen of Soul Aretha Franklin.
Reportedly set for New York City’s Madison Square Garden on November 14th, the event is will see the R&B royal’s greatest hits delivered by some of modern music’s most revered vocalists.

While the potential lineup is under wraps for the moment, sources suggest an announcement is imminent.
The show’s unveiling came just a day before reports indicated the ailing songstress was in better health and spirits after news indicated she was ‘gravely ill’ (click here to read more).

Clearly if Clive is handling it Jennifer Hudson will be front row center.
However please have Beyonce, Mariah, Celine, Alicia Keys, Rochelle Ferrell, Jazmine Sullivan, Patti LaBelle, Gladys Knight, Chaka Khan, Diana Ross, Fantasia, Jill Scott, Tamia, Mary J. Blige, Melissa Etheridge, Tamela Mann, The Clark Sisters, Shirley Ceaser, Lauryn Hill, and honestly many more plus get some great Choirs please. Have Oprah and Smokie and Stevie Wonder all speak.
