It’s because no one wants to see migos

Can’t fake tours. This is surprising considering all those #1 records.

It’s a pity streams don’t translate into ticket sales

Not because someone enjoys your music automatically mean they’ll enjoy your tour. Beyoncé suffers from the opposite. How all them ppl going to her tour but can’t purchase a 2 dollar song.

Cause they buy albums. F*ck a song

      • Hmmm… August 11, 2018

Why would they buy her $2 songs when they already bought her $18 album? Beyoncé’s fans like to have her albums. And That’s hardly the opposite of Drake’s predicament, because it’s not a fair trade. Tour tickets are a helluva lot more than $2. If you had to choose between selling more singles and selling more tickets, it’s better to sell more tickets. That situation is WAY better than drake’s. You end up with more money. I wouldn’t exactly say she’s “suffering” from anything. She got the better deal.

Reminds me of why Ri-Whine-A is doing makeup ? because her live vocals and music isn’t selling as much, her streaming also are not where Aubrey’s are!!

Wouldn’t be surprised a bit. Drake is all hype. Name one iconic, memorable Drake performance. Why would anybody want to see him live? There is nothing remotely enticing about it. He’s a popstar but doesn’t have the showmanship or dance ability like Chris or Beyoncé. He doesn’t have the s** appeal that a Trey Songz or Usher had. He doesn’t talk about anything real or inspiring like Kendrick. And honestly, he doesn’t have the swagger or finesse that Jay Z had in his prime on tour. He’s a non factor on the stage.

      Preach!!!

That’s what happens when you fake popularity with the Label buying your albums and singles in bulk.

Him and Nicki since the beginning of their careers!

    Fake popularity.
I didn’t know that all those 30 second clips you are practically begged to listen count as 1 stream. No wonder these guys are getting 50 billion streams. This is a fraud. No wonder he signed that deal with Apple and now we are all being force fed Drake.
You can’t fake ticket sales and REAL SALES.

  9. Bravo!! August 11, 2018

Well, if it wasn’t for streaming Drake album wouldn’t be a big seller because of his pure sales. He has a number one album and every single of scorpion album went number one, but he still has to postpone his tour dates. Have Drakes tours grossed more than Jayz tours though? I really have heard nothing about his tours gross.

Exhibit A of why streams still aren’t a good indicator of popularity or at least not when it comes to touring.
Tours are always where you see just how popular an artist really is.
It’s not that Drake isn’t popular, it’s just they keep trying to book venues way too big and in the wrong demographic areas.
Streams have caused more harm to the industry than it’s helped.Sure they are breaking records, but they have had to alter the requirements for the records to even be broken. It’s still weird to see that an album sold 700,000 copies in the US, but has a multi platinum certification. They should’ve just lowered certification requirements. It’s more honest and trackable than streaming.
?Anyway King Drake will be alright!

You are just SPECULATING. There can be many reasons why a tour is delayed behind the scenes. Migos & Drake are HUGE supertstars and I am confident they have no problem selling tickets. Tours are cancelled due to low ticket sales.. not change of dates which implies technical or tour management issues.

I am losing faith in this site since you guys take one sentence and make WHOLE post about it. No bueno

All that streaming and he can’t perform his own concerts? What kinda fluzzy is this?!! Streaming isn’t everything Aubrey!!✌??

  14. Spiicy August 12, 2018

His shows were POSTPONED, not canceled. Have Nicki and Future sold out any of those half-empty arenas yet? Tee hee.
