Nicki Minaj made all sorts of headlines last night when she vented after missing out on the top spot of the Billboard 200.
At the time, she heaped blame on Travis Scott, Kylie Jenner, and Spotify – the latter of whom she says yanked promo from her ‘Queen’ album launch.
Now, the streaming giant have issued a response.
In a statement shared by Hits Daily Double, a rep for the company countered with:
Spotify supported Nicki Minaj with a Times Square billboard, a host of the largest playlists, New Music Friday and the new music release shelf. Her song “Bed” actually saw an increase based on the promotions put behind the campaign. The company continues to be big fans of Nicki.”
