Christina Aguilera Kicks Off ‘The Liberation Tour’ With Slay Vocals & A Proposal

Published: Wednesday 26th Sep 2018 by Sam

After a ten-year hiatus, Christina Aguilera is back on the road.

The vocal wonder launched ‘The Liberation Tour’ last night in Florida and delivered in earnest.

Erected in support of her critically acclaimed comeback album of the same name, the trek’s first night saw Xtina sew together fresh numbers from the project such as ‘Fall In Line’ with much loved hits ala ‘Dirrty’ and ‘Fighter.’

Key moments from the sold-out Hard Rock Cafe gig include a wedding proposal, the debut of an unheard song (‘Wonderland’) and an emotional interlude during which the singer opened up about why she’s been off-stage for so long.

Check out the action after the jump…

Looks and sounds great!

That said, off urgent importance is an explanation for WHY she continues to pay ‘Your Body’ (her best song in over a decade) dust.

Here’s hoping it makes an appearance later in the tour.

In any case, welcome back Christina!

I think she didn’t want to record nor release Your Body. When Xtina is forced to do something, she’ll do it then pay it dust. She only does what she believes in. Hence, Lotus.

I agree, it’s sad I was looking forward to her performaning it too considering it would be her. I think it’s one of her better tracks, she sounded amazing on that record. Hope she changes her mind.

I love the white dress *Marie Antoinette theme* she looked happy to be back on road and her vocals are on point.
Lol I think she hates your body and that’s why she paid it dust.
And I’m so glad she included unless it’s with you

Amazing setlist, TWO important songs are missing:

Do some research, because everyone else knows more than just 2 songs. No shade.

Liberation Tour is intimate tour and that’s why
Thank God she didn’t make another billionaire set list.
She paid Bionic and Louts dust for so long and decided to include them in this tour :))))

    She’s a vocal BEAST!!

Only watched 1 video, lady marmalade, she can’t sing it anymore.. sorry but the lighting & visuals are really bad. Vocals ar underwhelming. Looks like a state fair performance. She could of been great in her career but unfortunately not everyone can be Mariah, Whitney, Celine level

Looks ghetto and low budget. Who is her creative director, K. Michelle?

Her mind seems to be elsewhere. I don’t sense the passion, energy and emotion of the old Christina. Doesn’t look like much effort was put into anything at all and that’s a shame.
